When it comes to foundation, I always go for Estée Lauder. I have a somewhat tan complexion with a skin tone around 23. I used up the Espoir Pro Tailor Be Silk Foundation and was looking for a new foundation. I couldn't find the right one at Lotte Shop (failed twice), so I tried the Estee Lauder one, which is a bit more expensive but has great reviews. 👩 : 23 shade with a slight yellow undertone (I bought it after swatching at the department store) ✔️ It applies very thinly and naturally. You only need to pump it half a time with a brush, and it's more than enough. ✔️ The skin expression is amazing. My skin looks so clear and healthy, like I'm not wearing any foundation.
Cons
✔️ Since it's a matte foundation, it does get a bit drying after a few hours. My cheeks and forehead get a bit dry, but I can't use a dewy foundation because my skin gets a bit oily, so I have to bear with it. ✔️ It clings to the sides of my nose. It blends naturally with the face. I had come across reviews saying it was thick and provided good coverage, so I was curious and bought it, but it's not thick at all and applies thinly and adheres lightly, feeling quite lightweight. I've been using concealer to cover blemishes, so the important thing was that the tone would last evenly, and I'm satisfied that there's no darkening and the tone is well-maintained.

Everyone has been raving about Double Wear, so I thought all foundations were more or less the same. But this is truly recommended for oily skin with large pores! It lasts all day without breaking down...ㅠㅠ Even when it does start to wear off, it doesn't look patchy, and a natural glow comes through. In the morning it looks flawless, and in the evening (unintentionally) it still looks natural.
Cons
Since it has a bit of a fixing power, it feels a little drying on the skin, especially in the winter. But even with a setting spray, it doesn't break down or look unpleasant. The dryness is about what you'd expect from this kind of satin-finish foundation, so that level of dryness is manageable!

Excellent lasting power and coverage! I used to mix foundation and BB cream, but I've settled on this.
