ConsThe only downside is that the puff is built into the bottom, which can be a bit inconvenient. Other than the high price, there's nothing else to complain about.

I'm sharing this information for those who, like me, prefer powder makeup. What is powder makeup? It's finishing your makeup by applying powder directly with a puff after your skincare routine (up to emulsion). Pros: Great for skin protection and significantly reduces the chance of acne breakouts. Cons: Coverage isn't the best... It's more of a blurring effect. I'll try to rank the products I've used: Tonymoly High Cover, MAC Studio Perfect, and HERA HD Foundation Application: Tonymoly = MAC = HERA They're all similar. Think of it as applying powder directly to your skin. The key is skillfully applying with a puff rather than the powder's spreadability itself. This ensures a natural look. Dryness seems to depend more on your skin condition and skincare routine rather than the powder itself. Coverage: Tonymoly >> HERA > MAC MAC barely provides any coverage, while Tonymoly can look cakey if you're not careful. Tonymoly has the best coverage but was difficult to use due to its coarse particles. HERA was the best in this aspect. It has medium-high coverage - won't conceal acne scars or active blemishes, but effectively covers redness, evens skin tone, and hides small blood vessels. As someone who's recently overcome acne, HERA's coverage was satisfactory for me. Emphasizing dead skin cells: Tonymoly >> MAC > HERA HERA's best feature was how it didn't emphasize flakiness when applied with a puff (assuming you have a solid skincare routine and your skin barrier isn't damaged). It creates a very smooth-looking complexion. While not as flawless as liquid foundation or cushion, it's still quite pretty. Longevity: All similar, but MAC and HERA win for graceful wear. Tonymoly's coarse particles made it wear off unattractively. I initially used it for its coverage when I had more acne marks, but stopped as my skin improved and I noticed how poorly it wore throughout the day. Overall impression after powder makeup: Tonymoly: Decent coverage for powder makeup, but can look cakey if not careful. MAC: Fine particles make it easy to use, but not suitable as a standalone powder foundation due to lack of coverage. HERA: Easiest to use for powder makeup (though MAC is slightly easier) with good coverage. It looks like you're wearing makeup and evens out your complexion. For these reasons, I'm sticking with HERA!
ConsThe price... It seems too expensive for the amount of product you get. Also, the included puff isn't great for powder makeup application.
TipFor powder makeup, it's better to use Innisfree's bouncy One Puff, not the porous ones. A springy, dense puff works best for makeup application! Apply the powder by gently spreading it on your skin with the puff. Use a bit of wrist action - think of it as gliding across the skin, not patting it on. Patting creates thick spots that can emphasize dead skin cells. When you have a lot of flaky skin, powder makeup won't apply smoothly. Be careful! Instead of exfoliating, focus on hydrating your skin well.

When I first used it, I was amazed at how fine the particles were. It's incredibly lightweight and gentle on the skin.
ConsThe staying power? It doesn't set well. On my oily nose area, it controls oil for a moment after application, but within about an hour, the oil comes right back. It's really difficult to use in summer. The puff definitely controls oil better than a brush, but it tends to make the product clump a bit, so I end up just using a brush. When I do use the puff, I only use a tiny amount of product.
TipRather than a pro tip, I'd say this is good for people who don't have much oiliness and don't like a glowy look. It's suitable for those who just want to slightly control oil.

I bought this on my dermatologist's recommendation, and I highly recommend it too! I was hesitant to try the powder, fearing it might be drying, but it actually doesn't dry out my skin at all. Plus, it keeps my makeup in place for a long time without breaking down.
ConsThe price is a bit steep, but since it's a pressed powder, it lasts a long time. It's more affordable if you buy it duty-free. The only downside is that the sponge included in the compact is a bit flimsy.
TipThe effect varies depending on the sponge you use. I've tried several, and the Aritaum Kerron Puff worked best for me.

ConsThe price is quite steep... And the built-in puff applicator wasn't great.

The case looks luxurious. It blends well during touch-ups without caking.
ConsThe coverage is non-existent. You can't even tell if you're applying it or not. The puff seems to absorb everything. For me, it actually makes my skin look oilier. It's way too expensive. I can't bring myself to throw it away because of the price, so I've only been using it for touch-ups. It's too drying to use in winter, so I'll have to save it for next summer, which is a shame.
