I bought another one of these because the Shy Rose quality is so good. It's perfect as a vibrant, clear red accent lip color. The staying power isn't great. Other than that, there aren't any particular drawbacks. - du*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 20, 2017
The value for money, staying power, and color payoff are top-notch... I dare say it's better than MAC. Even though I'm not great at gradients, this product makes it easy to create a beautiful ombre effect. It's perfect for my warm-toned skin. I've never been a fan of pink-tinged shades, but Scandal Red has a subtle pink undertone that makes it more wearable than a pure red. It's slightly more red-red compared to other products, and that hint of pink actually makes it prettier than a 100% pure red. Highly recommended for those with warm undertones! There's nothing negative to say. If I had to mention something disappointing... well, there isn't anything. I'm using it with complete satisfaction. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. It's best to apply this on moisturized lips, but even if you don't, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells. I, for one, don't bother with lip exfoliation... It's too much hassle. So yeah, that's about it. - qk*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsAug 14, 2017
Great value for the price! It's my first matte lipstick, and I'm pleasantly surprised by its staying power. I'm really enjoying using it! The inconvenience of having to firmly press the cap to close it is a bit annoying. Since it's a matte formula, you absolutely need to exfoliate your lips beforehand. Otherwise, it will emphasize all your dead skin cells. Make sure to prep your lips well! Make sure to close the cap properly. If you don't, the precious product will get cut off by the lid! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 14, 2017
The color is a gorgeous autumnal red-purple, with the purple undertones being more prominent than the red. I highly recommend this to those who want to stand out and embrace that fall vibe, rather than those looking for a safe, everyday lip color. It's perfect for anyone who wants to make a statement! The texture is absolutely delightful. I expected it to be super dry and difficult to apply since it's a matte lip, but it goes on thin, smooth, and lightweight! The staying power could be better, and it does emphasize dead skin cells a bit. But then again, that's typical for matte lipsticks... You've got to try this out! The color at the top of the second photo is from the same line, shade #3 Carrot Orange. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 3, 2017
1. Great value for money. I've been using this for over a year now, applying it about 5 times a week consistently. It lasts forever! 2. Fantastic color payoff. The red is RED! It's vibrant and intense - exactly what you want in a red lip product. 3. Impressive staying power. This ties into point 1. The longevity is so good that I only need to touch up once or twice after meals. With other products, I felt like I was eating more lipstick than food, but this one barely budges. 4. Wallet-friendly price. Considering the quality, performance, and ingredients, the price is incredibly reasonable. It holds its own even when compared to high-end products. 5. True matte finish. As a matte product, it delivers on its promise. The finish is definitely matte, but without emphasizing dry patches. At least for me... 1. Limited availability of It's Skin stores. Yes, this is how we small-town folks cry... But seriously, I'd love to test out other shades before buying, but there aren't any stores nearby to do so. 2. Sometimes hard to tell if it's applied evenly. Being a matte product, it's not always easy to tell if it's applied properly without checking in a mirror. This lipstick has me reaching for my compact more than twice a day, which is unusual for me. Though I must say, every time I check, it looks flawless. 3. The area around the cap can get messy. You really need to be careful when closing the cap. It's best to align it properly or frequently clean around the opening and inside the cap to keep things tidy. Don't trust your instincts when closing the cap. Make sure to visually align it before sealing to avoid any mess. - wl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessMay 30, 2017
I tried this on at the It's Skin store when I was out with a friend and loved it so much I bought it right away! It applies moisturizing but leaves a matte finish on the lips, which is perfect. I was considering buying MAC Red, but I'm so glad I got this instead. It's one of the few holy grail tints in my life! When I did a full red lip, it brought life back to my dull complexion. Highly recommend! The downside is that I've only had it for a week, and after dropping it once, the core fell out. I was shocked to see how little product there actually was... Considering the price, it seems expensive for the amount you get. I'm thinking about repurchasing it as my go-to tint, but sigh... it feels like I just bought it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinApr 30, 2017
I'm absolutely in love with the color! It's exactly the blue-based pink I've been searching for, with a perfect 4:6 pink to red ratio. The application is flawless, and I'm impressed with its staying power of about 4-5 hours. It looks stunning both as a full lip color and in a gradient style. Another major plus is that it's manufactured by Intercos - what a pleasant surprise to find a producer that supplies to luxury brands like Lancôme and Dior right here! It's incredibly effective at highlighting dead skin cells... As someone with an abundance of flaky skin, I can only feel a bit disheartened. My favorite look is to first neutralize my natural lip color, then fill in about two-thirds of my lips. I blend the edges with a cotton swab to define the lip line, and then add a darker lipstick to the inner part of my lips for a sultry ombre effect. For everyday wear, I just dab a bit on the inside of my lips and blend outwards for a fresh, innocent look! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 16, 2017
I used to think my lips were cursed with never-ending dead skin cells, and that I could only wear glossy lipsticks. But using apps like Hwahae taught me the drawbacks of tints and the benefits of matte lips. I thought only tints were the best, but for my lifeless-looking lips, I boldly quit tints and even started making my own lip products with beetroot. Then! After reading reviews, I daringly bought this product, supposedly made in Italy. I chose this one because I'm not a fan of anything with even a hint of pink. It truly deserves to be top-rated. It applies smoothly even on lips with dead skin cells. Once it dries, there's no smudging. As someone who hates lipstick marks on cups, I always wipe my lips after the first sip... This purchase was really worthwhile! It does contain slightly more potentially harmful ingredients than Sheer Rose... But I can confidently say it's better than YSL. The downside is that Sheer Rose isn't included in sales... Pro tip: Stock up during sales. It's beautiful~ Everyone, stop using tints and use this instead!!!!! Tints keep staining your lips, making your natural lip color look dull. Remember, your lips are mucous membranes, so take better care of them~ - Hwahae UserNormal SkinFeb 13, 2017
The price is quite reasonable, and since I'm not a fan of glossy finishes, I absolutely adore this matte type. It's just so beautiful! It does wear off a bit, and tends to transfer onto the case quite often. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2017
The generous amount and the color I love made it quite nice It lasted a long time due to the large quantity, but I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin as it's quite matte
