There's an unusual scent that might seem strange at first, but you get used to it and it becomes okay!

It absorbs well without feeling sticky on the face, and it's not too drying either. I really like it!

As soon as I apply it, my skin feels irritated. I've tried the Murad Skin Emulsion Night Cream, and generally, it causes a burning sensation upon application. The next day, I noticed blemishes appearing. Despite its high price tag, it just doesn't agree with my skin. Sadly, I had to toss this ill-fated cosmetic after only a week.

It absorbs instantly into the skin without feeling like it's sitting on top

I wouldn't recommend this for dry skin types. About 30 minutes after application, my skin felt dry again, requiring frequent reapplication. After a week of use, I started using it alongside my regular products. By the third week, I was only applying it to my nose area. I bought this Murad product because it's supposed to be effective for blemish control, but it didn't help me at all. If you're considering purchasing this for acne concerns, I'd suggest getting a sample first to try it out.

As someone who doesn't particularly enjoy scented products, I really appreciated that this one is fragrance-free. It feels so light on the skin!

Avoid using it during the day under makeup as it may cause pilling. Don't rely solely on this product for too long - after a few days of use, any blemishes that were going to surface will have done so. At that point, use an extractor to clear them, apply a hydrocolloid patch, and you're all set!

With prolonged use, it can cause dead skin cells to build up. For example, you should use it for about two nights and then take a break.

This product is a one-stop solution when you're debating whether to apply moisturizer while treating blemishes. My skin typically gets a couple of inflamed spots and occasional small bumps. When I apply this, it either calms them down or brings them to a head, making them easier to extract.

At first, I thought my skin was actually getting worse, but as I continued using it, it gradually improved.

I used this when I was in the US because it was said to be great for blemishes, and wow, it really worked wonders! I love that it doesn't make my skin greasy either. It's such a shame that it's so difficult to get now that I'm back in Korea.

Those with super sensitive skin should absolutely avoid this. People with dry skin should also be very careful. It seems to be effective for blemishes though. Recommended for oily, acne-prone skin.

By the third day, my face completely flipped out. Washing became more than refreshing - it started to sting. All the products I applied caused swelling and irritation. My face puffed up, turned red, and dried out like I had seborrheic dermatitis. The stinging sensation lasted all day, really bothering me. I suspect it might be due to the salicylic acid. I immediately stopped using it and got a refund.

I tried Murad's acne line. The cleansing foam was a hit for me during face washing - loved the refreshing sensation, so cool! I used the Perfecting Emulsion at night, but didn't notice anything particularly striking.

If you layer it with a hydrating moisturizer or another emulsion, it won't dry out your skin!

It can sting a bit when applied and leaves the skin feeling dry. I have oily skin so it's fine for me, but others might find it uncomfortable.

It's great for tackling those pesky little blemishes and the occasional red spots. After applying it morning and night for about 3 days, you'll quickly see results.

It applies well if you moisturize your skin with toner first.

I wish it provided a bit more hydration to the skin.

Among Murad's products, I think their cleansers are pretty good. However, I absolutely don't recommend Clinique for super sensitive skin prone to blemishes. I bought a set once, and it completely irritated my skin, causing a total disaster.

I've been using it for two months now, but I'm not sure if it's helping with my blemishes since they seem to be the same as before.

It feels less rich compared to other emulsions, which makes it seem more comfortable on the skin.

Use it consistently along with a mask for best results.

It doesn't seem to help much with hormonal acne around the chin that flares up near my menstrual cycle. It can be a bit drying, but most acne products tend to be drying due to their oil-controlling properties. It stings when applied to open blemishes, but even though it stings, the next day the acne is noticeably reduced - almost like it's disinfecting.

It seems to work well for inflammatory acne and teenage breakouts. While it might not be as effective on small pimples, I've seen great results on red, inflamed acne and adult acne.
