  Pros

  This product is a one-stop solution when you're debating whether to apply moisturizer while treating blemishes. My skin typically gets a couple of inflamed spots and occasional small bumps. When I apply this, it either calms them down or brings them to a head, making them easier to extract.

  Cons

  With prolonged use, it can cause dead skin cells to build up. For example, you should use it for about two nights and then take a break.

  Tip

  Avoid using it during the day under makeup as it may cause pilling. Don't rely solely on this product for too long - after a few days of use, any blemishes that were going to surface will have done so. At that point, use an extractor to clear them, apply a hydrocolloid patch, and you're all set!

  Pros

  I used this when I was in the US because it was said to be great for blemishes, and wow, it really worked wonders! I love that it doesn't make my skin greasy either. It's such a shame that it's so difficult to get now that I'm back in Korea.

  Cons

  At first, I thought my skin was actually getting worse, but as I continued using it, it gradually improved.

  Pros

  It's great for tackling those pesky little blemishes and the occasional red spots. After applying it morning and night for about 3 days, you'll quickly see results.

  Cons

  It can sting a bit when applied and leaves the skin feeling dry. I have oily skin so it's fine for me, but others might find it uncomfortable.

  Tip

  If you layer it with a hydrating moisturizer or another emulsion, it won't dry out your skin!

  Pros

  It seems to work well for inflammatory acne and teenage breakouts. While it might not be as effective on small pimples, I've seen great results on red, inflamed acne and adult acne.

  Cons

  It doesn't seem to help much with hormonal acne around the chin that flares up near my menstrual cycle. It can be a bit drying, but most acne products tend to be drying due to their oil-controlling properties. It stings when applied to open blemishes, but even though it stings, the next day the acne is noticeably reduced - almost like it's disinfecting.

  Use it consistently along with a mask for best results.
