Because the skin feels so hydrated with just this product, you might not need to apply essences or serums.

While it's good for nighttime use, it's difficult to absorb and apply makeup over it in the morning. Sometimes it seems to cause pilling... I think it's best to use it only before bed.

Since I have oily skin, the hydration lasts for a long time. When I apply it generously before bed, I don't need to use many other skincare products. It seems great for use during seasonal changes or in winter when your skin feels dry. The scent isn't as strong as I expected. There's a slight ginger aroma, but it's not unpleasant.
