I love how thinly it applies! Although my dry skin feels a bit parched, it adheres well and feels lightweight. The coverage is average. I usually use shade 17, so shade 1 gave me a nice brightening effect. For those who use shade 21, shade 1 might be too light! I'm not sure about other aspects, but if you're looking for a cushion that applies thinly, I think this is a good choice. I didn't notice any darkening either. As time passes, it just seems to fade a bit. As time goes on, it seems to accentuate dead skin cells a little. - hy***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 23, 2019
(Poor / Average / Good) Coverage: Average Adherence: Good Application: Good It feels like a cushion foundation that's somewhere between dewy and matte. It's a bit too hydrating to be called matte, yet not quite dewy enough to be considered moisturizing. I'd say it's a middle-ground cushion. It adheres to the skin smoothly, but the coverage is between average and good. It seems better than average, but not quite reaching 'good' level. Still, the coverage is fairly decent. Personally, I found the middle-ground nature of this cushion slightly disappointing. It seems like in trying to achieve both coverage and hydration, it ended up right in the middle. Of course, it's great if it can do both, but to me, it feels a bit neither here nor there. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 8, 2019
I couldn't find any positives, perhaps because it just didn't suit me I have very dry, flaky skin, though I don't typically get blemishes. When I applied this cushion, I didn't feel any moisture at all, and after a short while, my skin started to peel. The amount of product also seems too little. I wouldn't recommend it. - gk*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinMar 22, 2019
I heard that people who usually use shade 21 should opt for shade 1 Vanilla Beige with this product. Compared to BB cushions from other brands, even though it's labeled as shade 21, it gives a brighter and more radiant look. The coverage is also pretty good, and it offers great value for money. First off, the ingredients aren't the best. Also, compared to other BB creams I've used before, this one seems to pill more easily on the skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2019
As someone who's not great at applying makeup, other cushions or foundations often leave me looking patchy and ghostly white. But this one brightens my complexion naturally and even covers up my blemishes well. The amount seems a bit small. It's fine at first, but as you use it, the product doesn't come out easily, so you have to press hard to get it out. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 15, 2019
I've been using this product consistently since my first year of middle school through my third year of high school! My skin is naturally fair, so I've always used shade #1. I love how it gives me a whiter, more luminous complexion compared to other products. I'm really enjoying it! Even though I have dry skin and don't pay much attention to my skincare routine, I haven't experienced any blemishes or issues. It's been great! In the dead of winter, it can sometimes accentuate dead skin cells. During those times, it's best to apply a thorough skincare routine before using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2018
Not only does it provide great coverage, but it's also hydrating. Best of all, I found the perfect shade for my fair skin! No yellow undertones, it's just perfect. I'm currently on my fourth compact. The amount of product is really too small. Buying refills isn't ideal because the case often breaks and won't close properly. Also, it doesn't seem to work well with other cushions.. You absolutely have to use Tony Moly cushions with this. If you have very fair skin and find that regular cushions or compacts make your face look dark, this will really brighten up your complexion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 29, 2018
The coverage was excellent, especially around the sides of the nose. I was really pleased with how well it applied there. The finish was also satisfying, with a nice balance of moisture and a soft, matte feel. As I continued using it, I noticed some itching on my cheeks and forehead, which led to blemishes appearing. Unfortunately, the puff became dirty quite quickly, which was disappointing. Personally, I found that instead of giving my skin a radiant look, it made my complexion appear slightly dull, which was a letdown. - se**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 28, 2018
I've gone through 4 compacts of this product! My complexion is naturally fair with a tendency for redness and flushing, but this cushion has a yellow base with decent coverage, which worked wonders for me. I've been really satisfied using it. It's extremely drying for those with dry skin. I had to use a face oil with it. While it's lighter than the previous 21 shade and doesn't darken over time, touch-ups can make your face look increasingly pale and ghostly. I wouldn't recommend it for touch-ups. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 6, 2018
This is definitely a holy grail cushion. I've bought it three times and have settled on using it year-round! It can be a bit drying in winter, but it's fine if you apply a hydrating moisturizer generously beforehand. Probably the best cushion among drugstore brands. On days when I have a lot of dead skin cells, it accentuates them so much that I almost don't want to apply it on my nose. This varies depending on your skin condition, so keep that in mind. On days with excessive dead skin cells, it helps to use a peeling toner on problem areas with a cotton pad before application. It works much better that way! Since a lot of product comes out with one tap, just lightly touch the puff to the cushion. Then, gently rub the puff on the back side (the side that touches the product) and pat it on your face. This prevents clumping and gives a nice finish.
