  Pros

  As someone with seborrheic dermatitis, I used to have a lot of flaking like dead skin cells. But since I started using Nioxin #6, it's improved significantly, and I've been using it for years now. My hair texture has also gotten better.

  Cons

  Since there are different types available, I recommend checking carefully and choosing the product that suits you best.

  Tip

  For the #6 product, I recommend using all three together: the shampoo, revitalizer, and treatment. The treatment, in particular, is absolutely essential.

  As someone with an extremely oily scalp, thin hair, and low hair density, I've been dealing with greasy hair even after daily washing. My hair has always been naturally fine and weak. On my hairstylist's recommendation, I've been using Nioxin products for two years now. I've definitely noticed less hair fall and slightly thicker strands. It's like my hair has gained some strength! While the change isn't dramatic, the flaky patches on my scalp have completely disappeared. It's crucial to use both the cleanser and conditioner together. When I lazily used just the cleanser, my hair felt stiff and my scalp became dry. When washing, you can feel the tingling sensation that indicates a deep cleanse of the scalp.

  Cons

  For those with very sensitive scalps, the tingling sensation might be a bit intense. It's important to thoroughly wet your hair, apply the product, and carefully cleanse between the scalp folds. Leave it on for 1-2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Follow up with the conditioner, massaging it into the scalp, leave for 3 minutes, and rinse well. Without following these steps, the product won't be effective. This process can be time-consuming, especially on busy mornings. You need to be diligent about washing your hair thoroughly, which might not suit everyone. Also, the price is quite steep. At the salon, a 1000ml bottle costs $98, and if you're buying both the cleanser and conditioner, you're looking at $200. While the volume is generous, the price is hard to swallow.

  Pros

  I was unable to eat much for a while due to poor health, which led to a near-fasting state, and the added stress caused my hair to fall out rapidly. It was noticeably visible! But after using this shampoo, it has improved a lot! Of course, returning to a normal diet and relieving mental stress have also played a role. First of all, the lather is great and my scalp feels clean and refreshed. And using this shampoo gives my hair roots more volume, which I really like. The amount of hair that falls out when washing and drying my hair has definitely decreased! I will continue using this shampoo going forward!

  Cons

  I wish there was a pump, as that would be a bit more convenient.

  Using the shampoo alone is great, but if you also use the scalp conditioner, the effects are even better! The conditioner is for the scalp, so it's fine to apply it there.
