It absorbs beautifully. The cream glides on smoothly and adheres to the skin instantly upon application. While it feels great when first applied, the staying power leaves something to be desired. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2019
The coverage is decent. The shade also matches my skin tone well. It applies a bit thick. Still, I keep using it because of the color... - js******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 27, 2019
It's affordable and moisturizing. Plus, the case is pretty and unique! There are so many disappointing aspects. First, it's extremely sticky. You have to apply a ton of powder just to get it feeling somewhat dry. Also, it causes a lot of small blemishes. After using this, I've been getting so many tiny bumps on my skin. - hj********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2019
Color: - It's a neutral shade, neither too yellow nor pink-based, but leaning slightly more towards pink. It blends seamlessly with the skin without looking ashy. Coverage: - The coverage is quite good. While many dewy cushions tend to have low coverage, this one provides decent coverage. If you don't have major blemishes or scars, this could work well on its own. Adherence: - It doesn't pill or slide even when applied over multiple primers or base products! While not quite as long-lasting as a foundation, it has impressive staying power. Its main drawback is that it's rather ordinary. While there's nothing particularly wrong with it, there's no standout feature that makes you want to shout 'This is my holy grail!' The price is also quite high for the amount you get. It's not cheap, yet it runs out quickly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 1, 2018
The coverage was better than I expected. It makes my skin look really nice. Personally, I experienced significant darkening, and it felt a bit thick when applying. - an*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 25, 2018
Pros? It's tough to say. I loved the Dior cushion, but after finishing it, I realized Dior's price was too steep for the amount. So while searching for a new cushion, I tried this one briefly. When I first used it, the coverage was decent, and it looked dewy upon application. After a short while, it became slightly matte, which I liked. I used it with the Innisfree Aqua UV Protection Cream (mineral sunscreen), and the combination worked pretty well for me. My skin broke out immediately after using this... Since this was the only change in my routine during that time, it's definitely the culprit. It comes off way too easily - just brushing against something removes it. Hair and dust stick to it easily, so if you finish with powder or a compact, it becomes too dry and cakes up around the nose and eyes. The way it breaks down is also terrible. For me, applying it on bare skin without a base made my complexion appear darker over time, so I had to use it with a brightening moisturizer or sunscreen. There are also too many defective puffs... Customer service says they'll replace them, but it's such a hassle. They should have made them properly in the first place! The back of the puff would split and leave black powder residue, which was really annoying. What's worse, since it's square-shaped, no other puffs except Espoir's fit in it, which is frustrating. This might work well for those with flawless, resilient skin. My skin tone is around shade 22, slightly tanned, so keep in mind it brightens by about one shade. - da********Combination SkinFeb 4, 2018
The basic coverage is impressive. Even with a thin layer, it provides natural-looking coverage. No special skills are needed when reapplying, and it doesn't look cakey at all. As someone with dry skin, I find that it doesn't break down easily even without touch-ups. And when it does fade, it does so evenly and beautifully! When used with [Innisfree Daily UV Protection Cream No Sebum] sunscreen, I didn't need to touch up all day long! I'm around shade 22, and the 'Petal' shade isn't too light or too dark. It applies in a way that enhances your natural skin texture without altering your skin tone. I bought this cushion based on the sales associate's claim that it's more hydrating than their other cushions, but I don't find it particularly moisturizing. It's more of a semi-matte finish due to its coverage. However, it doesn't make my skin feel dry or crack. While it's great for those with a skin tone around shade 22 to apply naturally, it barely changes my skin tone... As someone who prefers a slightly brighter complexion, this is a bit disappointing. Everything else is fine, but it does settle into smile lines and under-eye wrinkles... To minimize this, I need to apply concealer or primer before the cushion. Hmm... after application, there's a slight reddish tint to the skin. It's almost like a brick color...? If you keep patting the cushion with a wedge puff throughout the day, it seems to absorb excess oil, helping the makeup last all day long. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 9, 2017
I love how it makes my skin feel soft and moisturized. While the coverage isn't great, it really gives my skin a beautiful, healthy-looking finish. I bought a refill, but when I opened it, I was disappointed to find the puff was completely torn and split. That's a bit of a letdown. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinApr 8, 2017
I switched to this after my Pro Tailor Essence Cushion was discontinued, and I'm thrilled with the results! As someone with dry skin, I usually prioritize hydration over coverage, but this product delivers both beautifully. It's wonderfully moisturizing, provides excellent coverage, and has impressive staying power. Even during a sweaty day of traveling without touch-ups, it didn't budge or run. Since I started using this, I've received numerous compliments on how healthy my skin looks. I bought the refill since I already had a cushion case, but I encountered an issue I've never experienced before. The cushion puff seemed defective, splitting and tearing after just two days of use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 29, 2016
I bought it because I could choose a shade that matches my skin tone, which was a big plus. At first, it gave me satisfaction, even though I thought shade 21 wouldn't suit me. The matching color made my face look natural. Oh, the blemishes are terrible! It was fine at first, but as I continued using it, I'm not sure if the product went bad or what. Even after changing the puff repeatedly, I keep getting blemishes on my face. What should I use now? I'm at a loss.
