  Pros

  I got this at a great price during a buy-one-get-one-free deal! The ingredients are excellent too. When blemishes appear, I apply a thin layer, then a thicker one before bed. The next day, severe blemishes either come to a head or small pimples calm down. It's definitely effective for blemishes, so I'm very satisfied. The quantity is generous, and since you only need to apply a small amount, it should last quite a while.

  Cons

  There's nothing particularly bad to mention. It's even better if you can purchase it during a buy-one-get-one-free or discount promotion.

  Tip

  For best results, I recommend patting on a thin layer first, letting it absorb, then applying a thicker layer on top before sleeping.

  Whether it's small bumps or pus-filled blemishes, applying this helps you extract the small ones and calms down the inflamed ones that can't be squeezed. Since I only apply it to problem areas when acne appears, it lasts a really long time. Plus, they sell it in a 1+1 deal, so I've been using it for ages. I don't get acne often, but I always buy this to manage it whenever it pops up.

  Sometimes after applying, the dead skin cells or outer layer of skin peels off. Is it because I apply it too thickly? When this happens, the blemish completely detaches from the skin, which is great because it leaves no marks. But I worry about the skin peeling. In those cases, applying Avene Cicalfate cream helps the skin recover quickly.

  Due to its thick consistency, it can appear white when rubbed onto the skin as it comes into contact with air. To minimize this effect, try patting it gently onto the skin instead. Also, apply it sparingly around the nose area where oil production is high, and do so last. I recommend warming a small amount between your hands first, then pressing it onto your skin for best results.

  1. When applied to red, swollen spots after extracting blemishes, it significantly reduces redness and inflammation! 2. It works well mixed in small amounts with emulsions or moisturizers. It claims to have brightening effects, but I'm not sure about that... 3. It's a great deal when you buy it during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion. 4. Since you only need to use a small amount each time, the product lasts a long time.

  1. The smell is awful! It's kind of medicinal...? 2. The texture doesn't spread easily. (Not really a major drawback though)

  Tip

  After extraction, apply it to irritated areas with a cotton swab, let it absorb, and reapply. The redness and swelling will go down significantly in just one day (though I found cold aloe gel to be even more effective). It didn't really help to bring blemishes to a head before extraction. Pharmacy products like Acne-Aid cream (or similar acne treatments) and tea tree oil were more effective for that purpose.

  The absorbs is great because the texture isn't heavy, so it doesn't feel suffocating on the skin and has a nice lightweight feel. The amount is also generous for applying to specific areas, allowing for quite a long period of use.

  Cons

  I used it for about 3 months... Personally, when applying after toner, I couldn't help but notice a slight floating sensation. There was a bit of white clumping, and I usually applied it on areas with lingering redness or when blemishes appeared, or after cleansing when blemishes were open or had burst. However, I didn't see significant effects in terms of reducing or soothing. I suspect it might not have been suitable for my skin.
