It has a rich, creamy texture! I've been using it for almost a year now, and those stubborn closed comedones that wouldn't go away have all disappeared. It's truly amazing... If your skin isn't super sensitive and you're dealing with closed comedones, I highly recommend giving this a try! It works hard for your skin!
ConsWhile my skin isn't particularly sensitive, this product caused some redness (though it subsided after two days). If you have super sensitive skin, please be cautious when using this!

It's irreplaceable! For my oily, milia-prone skin, there are two must-haves: Vichy's low pH cleansing gel and this product. Despite having oily skin, I'm sensitive, so I don't exfoliate often. Without this, my skin flakes off. When I apply it, it feels like it softens dead skin cells. It's especially effective on areas with milia, blackheads, and whiteheads - those spots become smoother. If I skip using it for just a day or two, my skin becomes rough and hard.
ConsSince I have super sensitive skin, it stung a bit when I used this on days I exfoliated. Now I avoid using it on exfoliation days. If you feel any tingling, don't try to endure it - rinse it off immediately with water! If you try to bear it, your skin might peel off... Oops!
TipFor those with similar skin types to mine, I recommend this routine: cleanse with Bioderma Cleansing Water and Vichy low pH gel, follow with a gentle exfoliating toner, then Effaclar K+, and finish with a lightweight gel moisturizer that has a bit of richness. When cleansing or using the exfoliating toner, I suggest using organic cotton pads. Since switching to organic cotton pads, I've noticed a significant reduction in irritation!

Those hard, painful-looking spots disappear within two days as if they never existed.
ConsIt hasn't shown much effect on small, stubborn blemishes yet. If anything, the forehead area seems to have gotten worse.
TipWhen applied, it gives a tight feeling on the skin. For those with combination skin, it's best to avoid dry areas and only apply it locally on blemish-prone areas.

To my delight, my small blemishes disappeared, which made me extremely satisfied. However, apart from clearing those tiny bumps or whiteheads, it doesn't particularly enhance the skin in other ways.
ConsSo I continued using it, and because I loved it so much, I repurchased. But perhaps due to prolonged use, my face became incredibly tight and dry. Sensitive areas even developed eczema-like symptoms. The positive effects I experienced when I first used it now seem like a distant memory, as this time around, it's not nearly as effective. Nevertheless, I'm still applying it regularly to areas where excess oil tends to accumulate.

I don't use it daily, just occasionally.
ConsIt's quite drying when used alone. When applied under makeup, it tends to pill, so I only use it at night. Once, I had a painful, large pimple forming near my nose. I started applying this product as soon as I noticed it, but it ended up causing the skin in that area to peel off. The skin turned red and flaked like shedding... The exfoliating power seems quite intense.
TipLet's use just the right amount. Unless you have extremely oily skin, you'll need additional hydration.

ConsAfter applying, it stung so much that I had to stop using it after a few days. It seems this product doesn't agree with my skin.
TipThey advise against using K and Duo together. It's a reminder that even good cosmetics need to suit your skin to be truly beneficial.

ConsMy mom bought this in France, saying it's good for acne. But as soon as I applied it, it stung. After checking the ingredients on Hwahae, I saw it contains salicylic acid, which is also in BHA products. I've used 0.5% products in Korea without issues, but this one seems to have a higher concentration. It doesn't agree with my sensitive skin... I immediately washed it off. What a waste!

ConsWhile it's definitely effective for small bumps, it doesn't seem to do much for occasional pimples. Also, after about a month and a half, I started avoiding applying it to my cheeks, especially under the eyes, as the skin there became prone to redness with even slight temperature changes - similar to what some call 'country girl syndrome'. Unfortunately, once the cheeks became dry, they didn't easily return to normal.
TipI applied it only after evening cleansing, making sure to massage it in thoroughly for absorption, followed by a generous application of a moisturizing cream to balance oil and hydration. For the first week, dead skin cells would come off like dirt during morning cleansing, but after that, my skin texture improved so much that I didn't need separate exfoliation.
