Mine seems like Revealed 1... I'm writing here since it's not available elsewhere. Good value for the price. It's like they've handpicked only the essential colors, making it highly versatile. As expected from a budget-friendly Urban Decay alternative, it has a decent selection. The slim size is convenient for carrying around when going out. There's a lot of excess powder fallout. People say the color payoff is good, but I find it lacking... Is this typical for all Coastal Scents products? It's worth giving it a try... - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 11, 2017
First off, the biggest advantage is the incredible variety of colors for the price point - you won't find this many diverse shades elsewhere. Surprisingly, there's minimal excess powder fallout, and the staying power is decent, making it great value for money. The color range is solid, with shades suitable for both warm and cool tones, perfect for everyday looks. There's a bit of powder fallout, and some of the white pearl or shimmery shadows can look a bit clumpy and dated when applied. But considering the price... Try applying with a slightly damp brush for better results. When picking up product with your brush, be sure to tap off any excess powder before applying to your eyes. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 26, 2017
Holy grail indeed! Meeting this gem on Amazon was truly fate. The color payoff is incredible... It's affordable yet absolutely amazing. Surprisingly, it's quite sturdy and lasts a long time. I think it's the best... Why isn't everyone using this? It's genuinely fantastic... Light and lovely... I really adore it... It's perfection... Mine isn't the #2 shade, it's from before the relaunch. The case is made of paper... There's no mirror... It could get damaged if the delivery driver is rough. It might break if not handled carefully during air travel... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinAug 10, 2016
The color payoff is incredible! There's a bit of excess powder, but that's unavoidable with such pigmented shades. Considering the price, I'm extremely satisfied. It's genuinely fantastic! Unfortunately, it's not a size you can easily carry around with you... - 12*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 28, 2016
For those of you who've been on the fence about trying Coastal Scents single eyeshadows, and have been scouring foreign reviews, this one's for you! (I've been there too!) First off, let me clarify that in the first photo, all the shadows in the palette are from Coastal Scents, except for the two marked as MAC products. Let me walk you through my holy grails (in my humble opinion): Starting with 'Persian Peach' from the first photo - it's a much warmer yellow-apricot shade with a white base than the picture shows. Being matte, it works great as a blush too. It's perfect for dewy glow orange or apricot looks, doubling as both a blush and eye base. 'Coral Treasure' is an orange-coral with gold shimmer - ideal for the warmest skin tones among Coastal Scents products! The 'Peach' shade is also a gold shimmer and pink combo, giving off a strong pink vibe with a coral undertone. The second row features matte shadows - all great staple colors to have. My top pick for nose contouring is 'Bermuda Sand'! And 'Chocolatier' at the end of the third row is absolutely stunning - perfect for the under-eye triangle area and softening eyeliner. Overall, the color payoff is intense and impressive! These come packaged individually like refill pans for palettes, so you'll likely need to buy a separate palette. There's no magnet on the back, so you'll have to DIY and add your own - bit of a hassle. Also, the colors on the website aren't always spot-on, so there's a risk of disappointment. To help you avoid that, I've gathered all my holy grails in the first photo of the palette - consider those all recommended! In the second photo, apart from 'Redwood' (which has a more intense color payoff than Etude's Sweet Persimmon Tea) and 'Deep Cider' (which has a bit of shimmer), all the other shades turned out much more pigmented than expected, making them a bit too bold for my taste. Price-wise, each single shadow pan usually goes for $1.95, but if you catch a sale, they can drop to $0.95 - so stock up! Even without discounts, they're affordable and high-quality. It's a great chance to try those shades you've always wanted but found too pricey or intense elsewhere. The basic contouring shades have excellent color payoff too - you won't regret buying them! I used a MAC palette, and these shadow pans are slightly smaller than Etude House shadows, about 1mm larger than MAC's, and fit perfectly in MAC palettes. They fit so snugly that you don't need to add magnetic stickers - just pop them in and you're good to go! P.S. The photos and text in them are my own handiwork! - dl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 21, 2016
Why is there a 2 but no 1? I find 1 great for daily use... I haven't tried 2, but I've heard that 1 is famous among American beauty enthusiasts as an affordable dupe for Urban Decay's Naked Palette 1 and 2. I'll review based on using 1. The original price is quite steep for students, so I bought it from Cou*** Global! Excluding shipping, I got it for about $20, which is incredibly cheap for a 20-color palette. First off, the pigmentation varies between shimmer and matte shadows. The mattes are decent, while the shimmers show pretty impressive color payoff. Fallout is so-so... not too much, but not completely absent either. Longevity was average when used alone, but it really shines when paired with an eye primer. It held up well on my eyes! This might vary from person to person... Personally, I highly recommend Brand's $13 primer. Above all, the color combination is perfect for daily wear with lots of brown shades, so this one palette is all you need for a natural eye look. The smell!!!!!! It'll probably fade with time... but that artificial, fresh-from-the-factory scent is really off-putting. Every time I lift the palette to apply shadow, the smell is so distracting it drives me crazy. Also, I'm seriously worried about the paper packaging... It's two layers of stiff paper held together by magnets, so I'm constantly anxious it might break while I'm carrying it around. Other than that... not much else? Given that I scored 20 eyeshadows for about $20, I'll just grin and bear it. The actual colors are more intensely brown and saturated than they appear in photos. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinJan 19, 2016
Great value for money with a generous amount and variety of colors, making it convenient to use When I used it, there was some excess powder fallout and the staying power was really disappointing Make sure to apply an eye primer before using this product
