No darkening and it absorbs well. The subtle shimmer creates a nice glow without being excessive! While it's soft, it's a bit too delicate and crumbles easily. Also, I personally felt like my skin absorbed the product too quickly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2018
Has a slight pink tint that gives a healthy complexion and brightens the skin. Lightweight and compact, making it perfect for on-the-go. Provides excellent coverage. I have a pale, white, and sallow complexion. This product has a pink undertone that doesn't match my skin tone, making it look disconnected. It does make the skin look brighter, perhaps too bright. Slightly unhygienic (attracts dust). While it's generally okay, for someone with extremely dry skin both inside and out like me, it cakes terribly and emphasizes wrinkles, making it unwearable. Even applying a tiny amount feels heavy and mask-like. I use it sparingly on areas I want to brighten or as a substitute for concealer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 21, 2018
I have dry and super sensitive skin. This product seems to be a perfect match for me. Even though the price is low, it doesn't absorb well for me, unfortunately. I tend to use it mostly on my T-zone. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2018
The solid form makes it easy to control the amount, and the color is delicately pretty. It's quite nice. I'm not sure, but the staying power might be an issue. Also, it's a bit matte. Apply a small amount and blend with a puff. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 10, 2018
First off, the color is really nice. I got it on sale for 6000 won, which is great. The finish is also pretty good. The smell is truly awful, like industrial chemicals straight from a factory... Is it just mine that smells this bad? It's really disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 15, 2018
Hygiene is crucial, and I got a great deal with the buy-one-get-one-free offer. After applying the stick, it slightly evens skin tone, so I'd recommend shade 1 or 2 for better results. There's nothing particularly bad, but it may emphasize dead skin cells, so I recommend using it after proper skincare. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 28, 2018
My skin tends to be on the darker side, so even when I apply sunscreen with good whitening properties or cushions with tone-up effects, I always end up with an ashy look. That ashiness was really stressing me out, so I was looking for a product that could naturally brighten my skin. A friend suggested I try the 101 stick. I usually use shade 23, but after testing, I boldly bought shade 1 of the 101 stick. Some might worry that using shade 1 would make my face look too light, but if you apply it sparingly, it looks really natural. The best part is that it doesn't leave an ashy tone and has great coverage. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a product with good coverage. I have very dry skin, so I was worried that a stick foundation might be too matte and cause my dead skin cells to flake. However, it's surprisingly not drying at all. I'm not sure if it's because I use a light moisturizer during my skincare routine and apply a base before using this, but I really don't notice any dryness. Also, when you touch the foundation, it feels more slippery than matte. So unless you have extremely dry skin, I recommend using a hydrating moisturizer in your skincare routine before applying this! For those with double eyelids, as with other products, don't apply this directly to your eyelids! It really gets caught in the crease. Also, apply it lightly around the sides of your nose as it can settle into those areas. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJan 27, 2018
I usually don't wear heavy makeup, so this was perfect for my light makeup routine. Even with this on, it looks like my natural skin rather than obvious makeup. It goes on thin and light, which contributes to the natural look! The coverage was better than I expected too! It completely evened out my redness. For blemishes or scars, it just provides a light concealing effect. I bought this because of the good ingredients, but something didn't agree with my skin and I consistently got blemishes... My skin wasn't perfect before, but I could go out without concealer. Now I can't leave the house without it. This product caused so many blemishes, and as a result, I've got so many more scars. I'm really upset about it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 11, 2017
I bought this as a kind of highlighter for areas I wanted to brighten, but I was surprised by how light it was! The application is nice, and if you apply it well, it looks natural. Oil starts to show up around the nose area after about 4 hours. It's great for quick morning makeup routines. Good value for money! It's really, really light. It's not shade 21, more like 19 - incredibly bright! It's best to apply it by gently swiping and then patting with a puff. If you spray some water or makeup fixer on the puff, it spreads even better! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2017
Holy grail product! Affordable price, no darkening, beautiful color, easy to apply, doesn't cause blemishes, and provides decent coverage. I'm afraid it might be discontinued. While the staying power could be better, its other advantages make up for it. It's a bit awkward when people ask what foundation I'm using. If you have dry skin, you'll need to pay extra attention to your skincare routine. Applying with your fingers works best. Using a puff makes it too dry.
