I bought this because it was said to be gentler than other exfoliating products, and it definitely removes dead skin cells softly. The application is too stiff, and when rinsing off, residue sticks to the face, making it difficult to remove each bit. Exfoliating on slightly damp skin helps reduce residue sticking. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 15, 2017
I do appreciate how smoothly it absorbs... When I try to apply it to my face after drying for exfoliation, it doesn't spread well. It gets caught in facial hair, and even after washing, it's still stuck. I have to rub my face until it turns red to remove it. It's pretty terrible! Don't buy it! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 1, 2017
At first, I didn't feel like it was cleaning thoroughly, so I briefly switched to something else. After using scrubs with granules, this one feels noticeably gentler and doesn't hurt. If you massage it in carefully, it cleanses really well, leaving your skin feeling fresh and clean. Make sure to rinse thoroughly in every nook and cranny. You might not notice while washing, but after drying off, you'll see white residue left behind. Moreover, the fragrance is overwhelmingly strong... It's a bit uncomfortable to use after being accustomed to milder products. When I first used it, the gel and dead skin cells clumped together near my earlobes and wouldn't wash off. I realized it was getting tangled with my baby hairs and peach fuzz... Unintentionally, I ended up trimming the fuzz with an eyebrow razor! I recommend massaging in one direction only to avoid this tangling issue. - fo*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsJan 3, 2017
The formula itself isn't irritating and can be used even when your skin is damp. You don't need to rub for long before the product starts to ball up. It definitely feels like it's removing dead skin cells effectively. Unless you scrub really hard, it's difficult to completely remove residue with just your hands. I wish the after-cleanse feeling was more hydrating. The peeling gel dries quickly and sticks to your face during cleansing, making it even harder to remove. Probably won't repurchase. It's challenging to get a perfect removal around the edges of the face and eyebrows, so use a cleansing tool like a sponge or konjac puff. Carefully wipe off the dried white product, then finish by wiping with toner on a cotton pad as if you're doing a final cleanse. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 13, 2016
It effectively removes dead skin cells, leaving your face brighter and more hydrated. The skin feels incredibly moisturized afterwards! The scent seems too strong (there's a strong alcohol smell). After use, I experience a slight tingling sensation when applying toner or emulsion, which doesn't usually happen. Once the moisture evaporates, you might feel some dryness. Don't use it too aggressively or for too long. Those with blemish-prone skin should be especially gentle!
