  Pros

  I just apply it with a cotton pad, gently swiping across my skin, and I can visibly see my blemishes calming down

  Cons

  It stings a bit when applying (a slight tingling sensation), and the scent is somewhat alcoholic. If it gets in your eyes, it's absolutely excruciating!

  Tip

  I've been using it consistently and have almost finished the bottle. I think my blemishes have somewhat improved

  Pros

  I finished a bottle today and went straight to Walmart to buy another. It's been challenging to find suitable skincare in the US, but this product is truly amazing for acne-prone skin. After cleansing, I gently wipe my face with a cotton pad soaked in this, apply moisturizer, and go to sleep. By morning, I can visibly see how much it calms down those tiny, pesky blemishes.

  Cons

  It's quite harsh and stings if it gets in your eyes. The alcohol scent is overpowering.

  I started using this product while struggling with adult acne, and it gives a cool, refreshing sensation like applying alcohol. It's been the most effective toner for my acne-prone skin, which is why I've continued using it for years. It definitely helps calm down small blemishes that seem like they're about to appear. When my skin was at its worst, I tried everything from green tea to cucumber masks for soothing, but this toner actually helped settle things down.

  Cons

  It's doing a great job at combating dehydration, so you really need to follow up with good hydration after using this toner. I personally think of it as medicine and apply a different toner all over my face afterward. Only certain areas are prone to blemishes, and the rest of my face doesn't necessarily need such a strong toner. It doesn't have a significant effect on large, inflamed acne. It's more of a supplementary product rather than a complete solution for troubled skin. Of course, it's still much better than having nothing at all.

  Tip

  I avoid applying it around my eyes and mouth as it can cause a tingling sensation. Instead, apply it carefully to areas with blemishes, almost like you're applying medicine.

  Pros

  First off, it's effective for calming blemishes. It stops new ones from forming and, although it's a bit intense, consistent use over a short period really helps soothe the skin. I'd recommend this for those with oily skin, but those with super sensitive skin should use it cautiously. Since it can be drying, make sure to follow up with some hydration.

  Cons

  The scent is incredibly overwhelming. When I used it around my nose, the fragrance was so strong I nearly had to give up on my sense of smell. It's like a potent mix of alcohol and perfume that assaults your nostrils. I had to wash it off with water to avoid losing my sense of smell completely. Also, it's quite harsh, so applying it to inflamed or picked-at blemishes really stings.

  1. Make sure to replenish moisture after use 2. Try to avoid using it around the nose area (you might have to wash it off or sacrifice your sense of smell)

  Pros

  I'm on my third bottle of this toner. At night, I soak a cotton pad generously and gently pat it on areas with blemishes. When I wake up in the morning, I can definitely see a reduction in acne. It's also excellent for controlling blackheads and sebum, so I lightly apply it to my T-zone too. You can easily find it in any drugstore in the US, and it's affordable, making it highly recommended for international students struggling with acne.

  Cons

  My eyes... they sting! Even when I tightly close my eyes while applying it to my nose and forehead, sometimes my eyes still feel irritated. At first, I naively used this toner all over my face, but when I saw my cheeks become extremely dry with dead skin cells flaking off like crazy, I started using it only on my T-zone and acne-prone areas.

  Tip

  Since it contains BHA, I recommend using it at night rather than in the morning!
