The ultimate champion of dead skin cell removal. I've been using it daily for 7 years... with no issues. You won't see immediate changes from using this, but after 1-2 months of consistent use, you'll notice the difference. You'll realize there's no more flaky skin on your face to fall off... The alcohol content is so strong it makes me cough when applying... but I'm okay with it. - es*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 23, 2022
Adult acne!!! It's been such a pain! But since switching to Neutrogena's foam cleanser and toner, I've seen a huge improvement. When I swipe the toner on with a cotton pad, there's a slight tingling sensation! However, I'm thrilled because my blemishes have significantly reduced. Usually, when I apply products with vitamins, I break out quickly, but with this, I can apply it without any issues. It must be killing off demodex mites or other bacteria. I'm absolutely delighted! It seems like my blackheads and whiteheads have completely vanished too! Unfortunately, it hasn't helped with my 6th-grade daughter's or college-age son's acne. My daughter's skin actually got worse, so she stopped using it after two weeks! My son also quit after three weeks! I guess everyone's skin reacts differently. They take after me with their irritated, blotchy skin! I feel bad about that. Salicylic acid can be really irritating but also effective... it's hard to say. I can't bear to stop using it... I'm afraid the acne will come back if I take a break. I'm not sure if it's too harsh or what's going on. I guess I'll just keep using it consistently! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2021
It definitely reduces the occurrence of blemishes, and my skin feels refreshed after application The scent might be hit or miss for some people due to its alcohol-like fragrance. Using this product alone may lead to dryness - la*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
This is a powerful product that's perfect for those rare moments when you want to completely dry out excess oil. It really gives you that 'totally dried up' feeling. It's extremely drying, and whatever you do, don't apply it to your philtrum area. It causes a burning sensation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 9, 2020
This product works wonders for blemishes, especially the pustular kind! Just one application and they calm down quickly. I love the slight tingling sensation and alcohol scent when applying - it feels like it's working immediately! Even if you don't have active breakouts, gently applying it to your T-zone can help control excess oil. I'm on my second bottle and always recommend this product first to friends struggling with acne! From personal experience, frequent use can really dry out your skin and make it more sensitive, potentially slowing down or negating the product's effectiveness on blemishes. That's why I now only use it when I have active breakouts or folliculitis. For best results, saturate a cotton swab or pad with the product and press it firmly against the affected area for at least 10 seconds. It might sting quite a bit, but you'll likely see a noticeable improvement in your blemishes by the next day! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2020
This is the ultimate champion for acne prevention! When used with benzoyl peroxide products, the BHA ingredient maximizes effectiveness! Using it alone can be quite harsh on sensitive or dry skin due to its drying effect For severe acne, combining this product with AcneO RG will eradicate acne-causing bacteria - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2020
I just apply it with a cotton pad, gently swiping across my skin, and I can visibly see my blemishes calming down It stings a bit when applying (a slight tingling sensation), and the scent is somewhat alcoholic. If it gets in your eyes, it's absolutely excruciating! I've been using it consistently and have almost finished the bottle. I think my blemishes have somewhat improved - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 11, 2020
A friend recommended this to me, and I've used about 6 bottles so far. I've definitely noticed a significant reduction in blemishes since I started using it. I apply it with a cotton pad, and it's amazing how much dirt and residue it picks up that my foam cleanser missed. This product really seems to work! I think I'll be sticking with this for the long haul. The alcohol scent is quite strong, which can sometimes irritate my nose during use. Perhaps because it's so effective, there are times when my skin feels quite tight after application. It might be a bit harsh for some, so I'd recommend adjusting the frequency of use based on how your skin responds. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2019
I finished a bottle today and went straight to Walmart to buy another. It's been challenging to find suitable skincare in the US, but this product is truly amazing for acne-prone skin. After cleansing, I gently wipe my face with a cotton pad soaked in this, apply moisturizer, and go to sleep. By morning, I can visibly see how much it calms down those tiny, pesky blemishes. It's quite harsh and stings if it gets in your eyes. The alcohol scent is overpowering. - wi*********Oily SkinAcne SkinOct 27, 2019
It stings a bit at first, but the sensation fades with continued use. The strong alcohol scent might make you feel queasy if you apply it after drinking. Hmm, even after prolonged use, I'm not sure what benefits it offers. I tried it because it's supposed to be good for oily skin, but I didn't notice any particular improvements.
