I'm not sure why it was discontinued. It was something I loved so much. It worked so well even in the humid summer, and it was a great lotion to use all year round. It applied smoothly and absorbed quickly, so I could even wear stockings after using it. The moisturizing power was guaranteed to be Abinorium-level.
