Although it says they are for dry and oily skin types, I don't feel restricted and use the red bottle when I want to use glycolic or lactic acid products, and the blue bottle when I want to use betaine salicylate. Given the reality in Korea where we can't distribute cosmetics with 2% salicylic acid (overseas it's possible, but in Korea the limit is 0.5% betaine salicylate, which is equivalent to around 2% salicylic acid, or so I've heard. Let's believe it.), the blue bottle is just a substitute for that. However, I didn't see any noticeable effects. (Salicylic acid is used in acne-treating cosmetics.) The red bottle with 4% glycolic and 4% lactic acid did provide some mild exfoliating effects. I hardly noticed any unpleasant scent. Even with the AHAs, it wasn't overly irritating. It does leave a slightly tacky feeling, but that's a given for a daily exfoliating product.
ConsBeing a cosmetic product with relatively low ingredient concentrations, it's not going to be dramatically effective. Plus, since I used it by wiping with a cotton pad after toning, the effects were even more subdued. However, if I use other exfoliating methods, and my face feels irritated, I'll stick to just using this. It's too watery to just apply, so the user experience isn't great. By the way, the blue bottle is discontinued. I'm not sure what happened to the betaine salicylate, as it's a salicylic acid alternative, but the research and stability on it are still uncertain, and I don't know what's going on with the company. After using it for a while, the acid caused the ink on the packaging to bleed, making it look shabby. Sigh.. The manufacturer is Aquarex.
TipIf you find it too irritating, use a cotton pad to gently apply it after toning your face. It's not very irritating.

I'm not sure if it's effective for acne or anything like that (it might be effective for those whose acne is caused by dead skin), but the exfoliation part works really well.!.! After applying this and waiting a bit, when I touch my skin, it feels so soft and smooth! And products like scrubs need to be rinsed off, which is a hassle, but this one is just apply and done!
ConsThe instructions say it's good to use daily, but the amount seems too little for daily use. And the formula is kind of ambiguous - when I apply it with my hands, it just runs down, and when I apply it with a cotton pad, it doesn't spread well, so I'm at a loss..ㅎ Also, I personally wish they would sell it offline as well.
TipI tried a similar low-irritation product, but to be honest, they're just about the same. So for those with sensitive skin, using this product about 2 times a week should be enough. And for those with dry skin, applying this right after cleansing will make your skin feel really dry, so it's better to use a mist and provide a little moisture before applying this.

After applying toner, I only need to use a small amount on the areas that need exfoliation, and it never stings. I don't use it often, but when my makeup starts to look uneven, I apply it in the evening and follow up with sufficient moisturizing (!) - my skin looks great the next day~~
ConsIf I had to nitpick, it's a bit too runny and tends to drip down.
TipThey say to use this during the day and apply sunscreen, but I think using this product 1-2 times a week in the evening is less irritating for the skin!

I applied it expecting a stinging sensation, but it just felt like applying a sticky water. The musty smell is also relatively mild, and the spreadability is excellent, so a single bottle can last a long time. My skin felt smooth and polished after cleansing the next day! I use it about once a week.
ConsAlthough it's called a gel, it has almost no viscosity. It flows like runny mucus;; I have to carefully pump it out and hurriedly apply it. And the usage feels a bit sticky.
TipDon't use it when your skin is sensitive, but when your skin is healthy, it won't sting at all. In my experience, once a week seems about right. (And even then, I skip it if my skin is feeling sensitive.) Be sure to apply sunscreen especially carefully the next day after using it.
