It's an excellent product for achieving a lighter skin tone while providing a highlighting effect.
Cons1. Emphasizes pores and texture: As time passes, these become too visible, making the skin look unflattering, which is disheartening. 2. Difficult touch-ups: It can pill or clump during touch-ups, making cleansing wipes a must-have. 3. Precise amount control is crucial: If you can't control the amount well, it immediately accentuates pores upon application.

When I apply this and then add blush, the brightening base makes the color pop and appear more vibrant.
ConsUnfortunately, it accentuates pores quite noticeably. It's quite thick, so after a while it tends to clump up and make pores more visible. It's prone to pilling, which is really disappointing.
TipIt works great for ID photos - it really brings out the facial contours! If possible, I recommend ordering it with a Mitsuyoshi puff for the best application results.

It definitely has a brightening effect that evens skin tone.
ConsThe application could be better. It doesn't glide on smoothly. There's a bit of pilling, so you need to spread it evenly to get a nice, uniform brightening effect.

That's about all the positives I can say.
ConsWhile it does cover dark circles to some extent, it doesn't conceal them completely. If you try to apply it thickly, it pills even with a thorough skincare routine underneath. Even with a thin layer, it slightly clumps and separates. It also leaves a whitish cast under the eyes. It's not great as a concealer, and it's too noticeable to use as a highlighter. You're better off using a different highlighter altogether.
TipI wouldn't recommend buying this.

When applied, it brightens the under-eye area and conceals 90% of dark circles. The remaining 10% can be matched with your skin tone. It's amazing for dark circles. This is definitely a holy grail product for me. It can even be used as a highlighter. A tiny amount gives incredible results (that's how brightening it is).
ConsFor those who find it caking under the eyes due to dryness, please adjust the amount you use. The product itself is dry, so applying too much will naturally lead to caking and clumping. The difference between shades 21 and 23 isn't significant... Those with naturally darker complexions might find it challenging to use. Its brightness is both a drawback and an advantage. While it's a concealer, it doesn't cover other blemishes - it's specifically for the eye area and works as a highlighter.
TipBefore applying this product, make sure to use a sufficiently rich or hydrating base product under your eyes. Gently pat it in to aid absorption, then apply a small amount of this concealer. Warm the product between your hands before application to make it less drying. Always apply with your fingers - brushes or sponges can make it too dry to blend properly.

I've been using it for half a year and still have half left. I was intrigued when I heard the legendary Samwool uses it to cover Suzy's dark circles. Then I immediately bought it after seeing the iconic Sabae use it on the bridge of her nose for newlywed makeup. It's less of a traditional concealer and more about color-correcting coverage. If you buy this expecting it to hide blemishes like a typical concealer, you might be disappointed.
ConsUsing a brush for application is essential to control the amount. If applied too thickly, it can clump and accentuate wrinkles. The trick is to use a Hwahong brush for a thin, smooth application - it works like a charm.
