It's gentle and perfect for use all year round. I love that it's not sticky at all. Unless you apply a very thin layer, it initially has a slightly runny texture. However, if you keep patting it in, it absorbs well. For those with dry skin, it might feel a bit drying in winter, so it's best to layer it with a serum for extra hydration. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 20, 2019
I've been living in Australia for a month and a half (I'm about to go back to Korea), and I bought this emulsion here since I left mine in Korea. I originally planned to buy Blackmores vitamin cream, but the ingredients weren't great. So I opted for this one, which is affordable and has good ingredients. It's really wonderful! My skin doesn't get greasy, feels soft, and yet it's so hydrating! I have very dry skin, so I usually apply Innisfree Artichoke Skin three times before using an emulsion, but with this one, applying it once is more than enough. The only downside is that it absorbs slowly when I apply a lot. My face turns a bit white, so I need to massage it in well. Still, I love it! I'm planning to stock up on a few vitamin creams from this brand too. Applying Thursday Plantation tea tree oil before this makes blemishes disappear completely. I've tried Lush masks too, but this method worked best for me! I'll definitely be stocking up on these two products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2018
The argan version is a bit lighter and easier to apply than the rosehip one. It's lightweight yet moisturizing, and great for generous application. I'd recommend it for those with sensitive dry skin. It's just a basic emulsion. It's suitable for a light application right after washing your face, before your skin starts to feel tight, but I don't think it does much beyond that. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 30, 2017
After using it for about a week, I can see that my skin has become more soothed and hydrated The price is reasonable and it's moisturizing, which is all good, but the scent might be a bit divisive - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2017
I've been using this product that I bought directly from Australia. Swiss skincare products generally seem to be gentle and effective! I mainly use it as a day cream. It absorbs lightly into the skin. My friend with oily skin mentioned that it sits a bit on the surface after application. It might be more suitable for those with dry or combination skin. - dl*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityDec 3, 2016
When I lived in Australia, I found this on sale at the supermarket for about $6. It was so cheap I decided to give it a try. I was surprised to see on Hwahae that it only contained allergen-free ingredients and was actually quite good. Fortunately, I don't have any allergies, so I used it without issues. For the price, you get a generous 125ml, which I used liberally. I still use it occasionally. In a nutshell, it's just okay. For those with dry skin, it lacks sufficient hydration. When I was in hot, dry Australia and ran out of my Korean skincare products, I used this along with a few other items, and my skin condition really deteriorated. Yes, the hot weather played a part, but neither the moisture nor the oil seemed to last long - it felt like it evaporated quickly. Still, I stocked up during a sale and recently opened a new one, which reminded me that Korean cosmetics are truly the best... It might work well if mixed with an oil! - yj****Normal SkinAcne SkinAug 10, 2016
Great value for money! I'm not sure about the price in Korea, but here in Australia, it's on sale for about 6,000 won in Korean currency. The ingredients are quite good, even better than some expensive creams, and the company doesn't do animal testing. I bought it just to try, and I'm really impressed with the hydration. I have combination skin with acne and a lot of dead skin cells. The texture isn't too rich, but it's good enough for fall and winter use. Those with dry skin might find it suitable even for summer, though you might need to simplify your skincare routine. It feels similar to Skin Food's Good Moisture Cream, but this one is much cheaper, so I'll probably stick with it. I'm 100% going to repurchase. By the way, even without a sale, it's only about 10,000 won (local price). The scent isn't very pleasant. I'm not too sensitive to smells anymore, but it's something to keep in mind. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 2, 2016
I've tried all the famous products out there, but now I've gone back to basics. I'm just using a single serum and moisturizer, and it's honestly the best skincare routine ever. I've sworn off fragranced products completely. While I can tolerate the medicinal scent, the average person might be shocked by how much it smells like traditional herbal medicine. Let's be honest, our skin needs a break sometimes. Occasionally, applying just this one product is more than enough.
