As someone with dry skin, I find that pressing it in with the warmth of my palms makes my skin feel wonderfully moisturized. It provides excellent hydration. The price is... way too high. I wish they'd come out with a larger size option. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2019
The scent is absolutely divine - it's become my holy grail night cream. Its delightfully bouncy texture means I'll be using it for a long time. The price is on the higher side. When my skin feels like it can't breathe, I take a break from using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2018
The hydration power is truly top-notch. Just applying this before bed leaves my skin moisturized until morning. It's perfect for my combination skin in my mid-30s. I also love the pleasant herbal scent. It's quite rich, so even a small amount can leave oil stains on your pillow. While its richness is a plus, it's also a bit of a drawback. I use a spatula to scoop out small, pea-sized amounts. - do********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 15, 2018
I was enticed to try this product after hearing it's a natural brand used in dermatology clinics, with Baume being the best - expensive but worth every penny. And it truly lives up to its price! While it's hard to pinpoint exactly what makes it so great, it's an oil balm packed with all the beneficial natural ingredients you can see in its composition. It's especially fantastic for those with dry skin. Above all, the scent is heavenly! It's so soothing, bringing peace to my mind every time I apply it. Plus, you get a generous amount, and the shelf life is longer than expected. Although it didn't suit me personally, I still recommend it. As someone with combination to oily skin that lacks hydration, oil balm types don't really work for me. Every time I used this product, my face would turn red and sting. I gave it to my mom, but when I looked at the ingredients, I was shocked. It's full of components that cause allergic reactions for me. I was essentially applying poison to my skin! I first encountered Decléor two years ago and used it blindly, thinking it must be good because it's a natural brand. I didn't even check the ingredients. Everything else made my skin react badly, and this was the only one I could somewhat use. Now that I've finally checked the ingredients, I understand why the cleanser and emulsion caused such bad reactions. It's surprising that they sell it at such a high price, with Baume being the only product without harmful ingredients. Take a small amount in your hand, warm it up by rubbing, then press it gently into your face to absorb (they say you don't need much, a small amount is sufficient). It's great to apply before a modeling mask. On days when your skin feels dry or not at its best, apply a small amount before foundation. It helps the makeup adhere better, allowing for a beautiful skin finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 10, 2017
The fragrance is lovely. It's incredibly soothing just from the scent alone. Mature women tend to really enjoy it. For me, it really doesn't seem to work at all! I bought both the Baume and the oil from the Mandarin line, which is meant for those in their late 20s to 30s when signs of aging start to appear. While the scent is wonderful, using this alone causes my skin to react severely, making it very difficult to recover. So I gave it to my mom to use as a massage cream, and it seems to suit her well. However, even though I washed my hands right after applying it to her, I still developed blemishes. It's a product I really want to stay far away from. It seems to be suitable for women in their 50s. For the Baume, it's good to use just a small amount, about the size of your pinky nail, warm it between your palms, and then massage it in. This works well for those over 50 or for those who find Decléor products agreeable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 29, 2017
It's not drying at all. I actually bought this for the aroma - it has a calming effect. I don't think this product suits me well. I used it as a final step after my facial treatment, and I bought it because I loved the scent. However, it seems too heavy for someone in their 30s. The spa owner even recommended it for people in their 50s-60s. It might work well for those with very dry skin. I have combination skin, not extremely dry, and after using this, it feels like there's an extra layer on my skin - almost like a film. I notice this feeling especially when I wash my face the next morning. This would be great to use in the dead of winter when the cold winds are blowing and the air is very dry. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 16, 2017
You can use this for a long time since it's a nighttime product! If you don't mind aromatic scents, it can even lift your mood. It's like experiencing that relaxing feeling you get from aromatherapy at a spa - though individual experiences may vary. The oil content is just right, neither too much nor too little, which I really appreciate. I thought it was a small size, but as I use it bit by bit, melting it as I go, I'm actually worried about how long it'll take to finish! As for Dr.Jart+, well, the only downside is always the price. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 5, 2017
I don't usually use balm-type products, but I'm really enjoying this one. I warm up a tiny amount between my palms, then press it all over my face. This actually helps reduce excess oiliness. The aromatic scent is so relaxing! There's nothing I dislike about it, except maybe the price. Even those with oily skin shouldn't hesitate to try it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 27, 2017
When applied as an overnight treatment, I wake up feeling my skin is not dry but rather soothed and calm. My cheeks are particularly dry, so I focus on applying it there, and the next day I don't feel as much dryness. It seems perfect for care once or twice a week. Although it's a balm type, a small amount spreads widely. The product volume is quite small, and it feels quite rich when applied, which can be a bit uncomfortable when sleeping. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2017
I first discovered this Homme product on the recommendation of a friend who runs an aesthetic clinic. I'm already on my third bottle! Even when I was struggling with adult acne, I never let go of this product and used it consistently. Now, my skin is so clear, there's not even a tiny blemish in sight! The only downside is that it can make your skin quite shiny, so it's not suitable for daytime use. I suppose that could be considered a drawback... haha!
