I bought this based on a recommendation for my baby. It has a lovely scent and absorbs well. When rinsing off the foam with water, it feels silky smooth. While it feels moisturizing right after washing, after some time passes, it doesn't seem to provide deep hydration.

The texture isn't heavy, and the pump dispenser makes it convenient to apply. It absorbs well into the skin, and the hydration it provides isn't bad at all. However, the scent you encounter as soon as you pump it out is really off-putting. It's somewhat reminiscent of a medicinal smell, and it's quite strong too. I was skeptical if this was truly a baby skincare product given the intense fragrance. The generous volume encouraged me to apply it liberally, but it left a sticky residue on my hands that was persistently unpleasant. The absorption is top-notch! I was looking for a product with a subtle, not overpowering scent, and this fits the bill perfectly! It absorbs so well that I'm worried it might be too drying for fall and winter. The way it absorbs, its moisturizing power, and how well it sinks into the skin all seem pretty decent. Overall, it feels quite convenient to use. It doesn't seem to work well as a bath oil. It's great that you can use it during bath time too. Usually, baby oils tend to go to waste, but this one doesn't leave an overly greasy feeling, which is fantastic. For a product meant for babies, the ingredients are a bit concerning. Despite containing fragrance, the scent isn't pleasant. It smells like old cosmetics... I bought it to remove dead skin cells from my baby's scalp, but it absorbs too well. I'll need to buy a different oil for that purpose. It absorbs well into the skin, feeling gentle and smooth. It seems to create a moisturizing protective layer on the skin. For a bath massage, I think the child needs to be a bit older.

However, excessive pumping isn't good. It should be limited to once or twice. When I did it two or three times, my son's skin became bumpy and red. The fragrance is quite strong. My daughter and son have extremely dry skin, so we've tried almost everything out there. Recently, a friend recommended By The Orchard, and we've been using it for a week now. It's perfect for my kids who always take milk baths in autumn and winter. The hydration boost is definitely noticeable! While we need to use it longer to see full results, I'm satisfied so far. The pump is a bit stiff, so you need to press it firmly. I'm sure you all know what I mean! Instead of applying it directly, I prefer warming some milk in the bathtub and adding the oil to it. I diluted it in water 2-3 times for a bath, and it made my skin feel incredibly soft. Since it's for bathing, water can get into the mouth. To think there are two harmful ingredients... I regret buying the full set, trusting it because it's a European product.
