It gives your skin a naturally radiant look, making it perfect for daily use. As a natural foundation, it doesn't break down or crease. The variety of shades means everyone can find their perfect match. This isn't a foundation focused on high coverage. While you can maximize the glow using a brush and puff combo, applying it quickly with your fingers doesn't give a pretty finish. It's a great product for winter. If you moisturize well and use the right tools, you can achieve a truly 'glowing' complexion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 31, 2018
What I loved is that it doesn't dry out my already dry skin. It adheres well, doesn't separate, gives a nice glow - everything's great. However... This product seems to darken my skin tone immediately upon application. My skin tone is between 13-17, but even the lightest shade makes me look tanned. If they could produce a lighter shade, I'd consider repurchasing. As soon as I apply it, I look like I've spent a month in the sun. I don't care much about coverage, but a bright complexion is crucial for me, so I can only give it one star. I tried mixing it with a lighter foundation, but the result was disappointing. A sponge absorbs too much of the product. Using a brush brings out more of that Inner Glow. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 29, 2017
The color is beautiful and I love the moisturizing glow. Plus, the ingredients are great. It lacks coverage and causes significant darkening. The scent is also a bit off-putting. Use a brush instead of a sponge for application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJan 20, 2017
It gives a subtle glow and adheres well to the skin. The color is a pink-based, bright shade that's exactly what I was looking for, and it fades beautifully. Highly recommended for those who want a very natural makeup look. The coverage is practically non-existent, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for coverage. When used with a strobe cream, it creates an unbeatable subtle radiance. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 29, 2016
It adheres well to the skin and gives a subtle, luminous glow when applied. The texture is lightweight, moisturizing, and absorbs beautifully. Although it's supposed to have a pink base, it seems to have more of a yellow undertone. If it weren't for that, it would be great. The coverage is light, so you definitely need to use a base makeup for a polished look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 22, 2016
The adherence is really excellent. It feels like it wraps snugly around your skin. Should I say it makes your skin look firm? It gives such a plump appearance! My mother also used it, and every time she applied it, her skin looked noticeably younger! Moreover, it's wonderfully hydrating. Usually, when I apply foundation in the morning, I start feeling dry around 5 PM, but with this product, that dry feeling comes much later. Around 8 or 9 PM perhaps? I use it with the sponge sold by Laura Mercier, and I find this combination quite impressive. It doesn't offer much coverage. While it definitely evens out the complexion effectively, if coverage is a priority for you, it's best to mix this with a more matte foundation that has better coverage. Otherwise, you might want to use a concealer. When I use this, I feel the coverage is insufficient, so I mix it in a 1:1 ratio with NARS Sheer Glow foundation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2016
After trying numerous high-end and budget-friendly foundations, I finally settled on this gem! I'm prone to red blemishes when using products with harsh ingredients, so I was on the hunt for something gentler. This foundation delivers! While it does start to break down a bit around lunchtime as my skin gets oily, there's no darkening. A quick touch-up brings it back to life. True to its name, it gives a clean, radiant glow without being over the top. If I had to compare, I'd say it's as natural-looking as the Make Up For Ever Face & Body foundation. No blemishes for me! I debated between Vanilla and Shell, but after swatching both side by side, Shell looked more vibrant, so that's what I went with. While the shades are quite similar, Shell has a slightly pinker undertone. (Honestly, I thought Vanilla had more of a yellow tinge.) The coverage is on the lighter side, so I'd recommend this more for those looking to even out their complexion rather than heavy coverage. I highly suggest visiting a store and trying it on your bare skin before purchasing. It's hard to gauge how the color, coverage, and overall feel will work with your skin tone without actually applying it. As a side note, I've noticed that Laura Mercier products can be pricier online and don't seem to go on sale as often.
