Cons- I initially thought it wasn't too pink, but as I applied it, I realized it leans more towards a brick+pink rather than a true red... - When used over lip balm, it doesn't stain well, which reduces its longevity
TipIf you have some flaky skin on your lips, use it with a lip balm!

She told me I'd love the color and that I should buy it too. Wow, it was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. - This isn't just a lipstick. When you dab it on bare skin or with minimal makeup, it gives you a beautiful, healthy glow. It's like they invented the term 'MLBB' (My Lips But Better) for this product. - While it looks a bit bright in photos, in person it's a more subdued, muted shade. - It's not particularly moisturizing, but it has a slight glow that makes it look beautifully dewy. So pretty! - The scent isn't off-putting at all.
Cons- Given its formula, it's understandable that the staying power isn't great. However, it doesn't transfer to an annoying degree. I'm satisfied with this level of performance. - I have a fair, pale complexion (not the radiant kind of fair) with cool winter undertones. While I personally find it very pretty, I'm not sure if it suits my skin tone. It has a warm undertone, so when I apply it fully, the contrast with my skin makes me look even paler, almost vampire-like. It might suit someone with a fair but slightly yellow-toned skin like my friend, or even someone with a darker complexion. From what I've heard, it's not exclusively for warm tones, but to me, it seemed a bit warm.

ConsThe staying power is quite poor - it tends to wear off completely when eating

While Bobbi Brown's Dusty Pink gives that perfect pink MLBB vibe for spring and summer, MAC's Brick-O-La has this amazing red bean soup shade that's absolutely perfect for fall and winter. I wasn't a big fan of MAC lip products before, but this one is wonderfully moisturizing.
ConsThe staying power isn't very long, so you'll need to reapply it frequently.

I loved how moisturizing it felt and how well it worked as a base layer. (Since each case is different, some people might find it a bit intense as a base. I apply it once on my lower lip and use the remainder for the upper lip.) I also appreciated that there wasn't much difference between one application and three, which is great. I'd recommend this to those with muted warm undertones. In the image, the first swatch on the right is one application, and the second is three applications.
ConsBeing a moisturizing formula, it can get a bit mushy. However, it's not severe enough to be a deal-breaker. Also, due to its hydrating nature, the staying power isn't particularly long-lasting.

The color payoff is fantastic, and it glides on so smoothly. I'm so proud of myself for choosing this shade - it was such a great pick! I'm already running low and can't wait to repurchase it. For reference, I have a 23 shade with dull, yellowish skin. If you have a similar complexion, I highly recommend giving this a try!
ConsEverything about this lipstick is great, except for one thing - the staying power. Since it's more creamy than matte, it doesn't adhere as well to the lips. When drinking from a straw or cup, or while eating, it feels like you're consuming the lipstick along with your food or drink. If they could improve the longevity, it would be absolutely perfect! But even with this drawback, the color is so beautiful that I'm willing to keep using it despite the lack of staying power - that's the real charm of this product!

I bought this because I absolutely adore muted lip colors, and it seems to be a perfect match for warm autumn skin tones. To be honest, I have a somewhat ambiguous warm tone, so this lip color made my face look a bit dull. I haven't used it much, but it's still in like-new condition. I highly recommend testing it in-store before purchasing. What I loved about this product is its creamy texture, which allows for a moisturizing application without emphasizing dead skin cells. When applied, it doesn't create a stark contrast with your natural lip color, resulting in a very natural look. The price isn't as steep as Yves Saint Laurent or Tom Ford... haha! The bullet-shaped case... there's a certain joy in collecting them...
ConsWhile the creamy texture is great for applying without emphasizing dead skin cells, it does come with the drawback of poor staying power. It's completely gone after eating, and it tends to transfer when drinking coffee. This shade doesn't particularly brighten up your face. It's more of a subtle, everyday color.
TipKeep an eye out for duty-free opportunities and various discounts! Perfect for pairing with a casual-chic look!

The color is more grayish than in the photos, like a reddish-brown bean porridge shade. However, if applied heavily, it can look a bit mature. I prefer to use it for gradient looks. When applied thinly, it creates a truly beautiful toned-down, water-stained rose color. It's absolutely gorgeous! Since it's a bean porridge shade, I think even those with light undertones might be able to use it well. I love that it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells too!
ConsThe main drawback might be its longevity, but since it's moisturizing, I don't worry about it too much. The color is beautiful and it doesn't highlight blemishes, so I think it's an acceptable trade-off.
TipIn my personal opinion, if brick ora suits you well, you might also look great in YSL 407 Carmin Session! This is just my personal thought. Of course, I use both of them regularly!

Personally, I love the toned-down, muted color. The low saturation makes it great for daily wear without being overwhelming. Above all, it provides a hydrating finish that's ideal for winter, and the smooth application makes it comfortable and easy to use.
ConsThe lack of staying power is such a disappointment. While it's a moisturizing lipstick that applies color well, it just doesn't last! And it transfers way too easily. It leaves such noticeable marks on cups that you might think your actual lips came off. I understand that moisturizing formulas tend to transfer, but this one's longevity is poor and it transfers excessively. The color is truly beautiful, but considering the price, it's hard to justify buying it for the color alone.

I started using it as a gift from a friend, and the color was absolutely gorgeous. It's a dried rose color, perfect for autumn...! The moisturizing formula means you don't need to exfoliate your dead skin cells separately before applying. Plus, it has a sweet buttery scent that makes application a pleasure.
ConsDue to its moisturizing formula, the staying power is inevitably a bit disappointing. It doesn't seem to stain much either... After a few cups of coffee, it disappears from your lips. Other than this, I don't have any particular complaints!
TipUse it without applying lip balm first. If you add a lip balm, your lips become too shiny and it feels like the color slightly separates.
