I used to think it made me look older, but now it suits me perfectly! The muted shade is my go-to for daily wear in autumn. Surprisingly, it has some staining power too! With its lovely scent and beautiful MLBB (My Lips But Better) color, I highly recommend it.
ConsI couldn't find any downsides. If I had to nitpick, maybe it transfers a bit...?
TipI'll show you a comparison photo with YSL Water Tint in shade 617!

Rich, intense color. Compact size makes it convenient to carry around.
ConsTends to leave marks on cups and other surfaces. The scent might be polarizing for some.

I bought this because I absolutely adore muted lip colors, and it seems to be a perfect match for warm autumn skin tones. To be honest, I have a somewhat ambiguous warm tone, so this lip color made my face look a bit dull. I haven't used it much, but it's still in like-new condition. I highly recommend testing it in-store before purchasing. What I loved about this product is its creamy texture, which allows for a moisturizing application without emphasizing dead skin cells. When applied, it doesn't create a stark contrast with your natural lip color, resulting in a very natural look. The price isn't as steep as Yves Saint Laurent or Tom Ford... haha! The bullet-shaped case... there's a certain joy in collecting them...
ConsWhile the creamy texture is great for applying without emphasizing dead skin cells, it does come with the drawback of poor staying power. It's completely gone after eating, and it tends to transfer when drinking coffee. This shade doesn't particularly brighten up your face. It's more of a subtle, everyday color.
TipKeep an eye out for duty-free opportunities and various discounts! Perfect for pairing with a casual-chic look!

Personally, I love the toned-down, muted color. The low saturation makes it great for daily wear without being overwhelming. Above all, it provides a hydrating finish that's ideal for winter, and the smooth application makes it comfortable and easy to use.
ConsThe lack of staying power is such a disappointment. While it's a moisturizing lipstick that applies color well, it just doesn't last! And it transfers way too easily. It leaves such noticeable marks on cups that you might think your actual lips came off. I understand that moisturizing formulas tend to transfer, but this one's longevity is poor and it transfers excessively. The color is truly beautiful, but considering the price, it's hard to justify buying it for the color alone.

It never melted even in Malaysia's heat. It doesn't emphasize dead skin cells on lips when applied directly, and the color becomes more subtle when used over lip balm. I experienced no allergic reactions. The look is incredibly natural.
ConsIt does transfer to cups right after application. After eating, about 70% of it disappears.
TipYou can apply it carelessly without worrying. It doesn't highlight dead skin cells at all.

It's quite moisturizing too. Plus, the shade seems to be one I never get tired of, no matter when I wear it.
ConsUnfortunately, it tends to transfer a lot when eating or drinking.

This one's for you! 1. Color: It's a toned-down pink with subtle hints of plum and gray. There's a very fine shimmer, but it's barely noticeable on the lips. For me, it gave a slightly more vibrant look than my natural lip color. If you have naturally reddish lips, this might appear a bit darker. While not an incredibly unique shade, you can find similar colors around. In photos, it looks almost identical to Revlon's Berry Rich, though Berry Rich seems a tad brighter. 2. Opacity: The color payoff isn't as sheer as Volitpté Shine. It's just right for a lipstick! It applies more translucently than MAC's traditional matte lipsticks. One swipe is enough to achieve the true color. 3. Texture and Exfoliation: Being from the Amplified line, it's much more hydrating than Chili. However, don't expect it to be more moisturizing than other regular lipsticks or to combat dryness. Sadly, it smudged a bit when I pressed my front teeth against it. Unlike some super-matte formulas that withstand the 'teeth test', this one didn't fare as well. It doesn't emphasize dry patches at all. No need for extra exfoliation, and it doesn't feel drying when applied. 4. Longevity: I've been a fan of Revlon's Berry Rich and used it often recently, but its staying power was disappointing. Brick-O-La, despite having a similar texture to Berry Rich, lasts longer. Of course, its longevity is no match for matte formulas. After eating, you might notice a slight line on the inner part of your lips. 5. Ingredients: Are there any of you who react to Red No. 201 in lipsticks or tints? I'm one of those people. With other products containing Red No. 201, my lips would peel, but strangely, MAC lipsticks with this ingredient work fine for me. If you've been wary of Red No. 201, you might want to give this a try.
Cons1. The main drawback is, unsurprisingly, its longevity. However, expecting both a hydrating formula and long-lasting wear might be asking too much, so I'm trying to be content with it. ★★If you don't need a moisturizing formula and are after a toned-down pink with incredible staying power, quickly hit the back button and check out Peripera's Ink the Velvet!★★ 2. It does transfer a bit. You'll see marks on your cup. 3. While I initially loved the packaging, having multiple makes it hard to distinguish between shades. I wish they'd put a color indicator on the bottom. Every morning, I find myself squinting to read the tiny print on the tube.
TipThe shade is very similar to Berry Rich. If you're too lazy to go to a department store for a color test, you could try Revlon's Berry Rich at an Olive Young store. Berry Rich is slightly brighter. In the photo below, the order is Berry Rich, Brick-O-La, and Chili. While there's a noticeable difference on the hand swatches, on the lips, Berry Rich and Brick-O-La were almost indistinguishable.
