It's on the thinner side, which makes it great for touch-ups! I bought this in a rush at Incheon Airport duty-free on July 27th when I forgot my makeup for a trip. It's been just over 4 months, and the case durability is really disappointing. The puff's quality is also terrible. As you can see in the photo, the edge of the case front was peeling off white. At first, I thought I had just discovered a scratch-protection sticker late, so I tried to scratch it off with my nail, but a piece of plastic just popped off. I have another cushion I use regularly, so I didn't carry this one around much or handle it often. I don't wear makeup much, so I barely used it, but after about 3 months, the puff started separating into layers. Now I see the case is in such a state too... It's expensive but I barely used it, there's not much product, and it feels like I just paid for the brand name. I'm attaching a screenshot of the receipt I posted on Instagram. I really wish I had bought a different brand... I regret this purchase so much. It applies thinly, which is good for touch-ups - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 10, 2017
I wanted to buy the 20th shade at the duty-free store, but it was sold out, so I bought the 30th shade and tried it. It wasn't as dark as I expected and blended well naturally. The coverage is just so-so. I thought the longevity was decent. It breaks down nicely and looks pretty. The price is a bit steep, to be honest. There's only one puff included, so after using it for a while, the cushion part and the top fabric start to come off. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinDec 30, 2016
I really like the case, so I received it as a gift. I felt very good when I received it. The color matched me perfectly, which I liked. The puff is really not good. The puff seems to absorb all the liquid, so I bought and use an Iope cushion separately. Since my base is not set, my makeup seems to slip a lot. And my product may be defective... It was quite dry... It's strange since it's a department store product... I think I need to establish my skincare routine more firmly😩😩 It seems like changing the puff would be a good idea. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinDec 2, 2016
It's really moisturizing I've tried Iope, Hera, and Laneige, and I finally understand why they're so popular as cushion foundations in our country. The most important things to me are the natural look and radiant finish. The coverage is a bit lacking, and the puff seems to change quickly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 18, 2016
I heard great things about the Yves Saint Laurent cushion and despite the high price, I decided to make the purchase! The Yves Saint Laurent Ink Fusion product is made into a cushion format, which made it very convenient to use. Since I have combination skin and usually prioritize longevity when applying makeup, I've been using the Estée Lauder Double Wear product, but lately I've been consistently using this product! The finish is not too matte, but has a nice, light powdery feel, and the coverage is better than I expected, so I don't even need to use a concealer. The best part is the convenience and portability - it's great, and the longevity is also fantastic. The Double Wear would sometimes emphasize my pores and look unattractive if I didn't retouch it for a long time, but this product barely accentuates my pores or creases, and the longevity is really good. When I run out, I'll definitely consider repurchasing the cushion refill or the original foundation. My usual shade is Double Wear Sand, and I use 23 for Korean products. The price markup is just too much. It seems like 80% of the price is going towards the case. The puff that comes with the cushion is also really nice, but the accessibility is low and the price of just the puff is too high. Honestly, it would be great if they included an extra puff when you purchase the full product. While the product isn't exceptionally good considering the price, since the foundation formula is so great and the convenience is unbeatable, I do have the intention to repurchase. To boost the longevity even further, I lightly apply some powder at the end. That way, it lasts for over 8 hours without needing any retouching! For the concealer, you should use a more fluid formula that's not too matte, so it blends in seamlessly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 14, 2016
- The case is so cute... - The longevity is really good - I've seen a lot of reviews about darkening, but I didn't feel any darkening! - Good adherence - I thought the 30 shade would be very yellow, but it's not that yellow! - Not drying (for extremely dry skin, it may feel slightly drying, but it's good with a good base) - The price is too expensive^^ It would have been better if they included a refill at this price... - The puff absorbs the foundation too much ㅠㅠ - It would be great if there was a color in between 20 and 30 - The coverage is not enough~~~~ I use a concealer to cover the blemishes I really liked the Laneige Ink Cushion Foundation and have been using it well. So this time, I bought this cushion from the duty-free sale, and it's so good! :) The longevity is as good as the Ink Cushion, and it applies thinly, so I really like it ㅋㅋ I originally wanted to buy the 20 shade, but it was sold out...... I bought the 30 shade, and it's fine ㅋㅋ If I had bought the 20, it might have been too pink and looked unnatural.... However, the amount of foundation is small compared to the price, so if you don't need to carry it around, I'd recommend buying the Ink Cushion instead^-^ The longevity of the Ink Cushion and Ink Foundation is similar, but the Ink Foundation has less creasing around the sides of the nose! I usually only use cushion for touch-ups, but this product has good longevity even when I use it for my whole makeup in the morning, so I think I'll repurchase the refill when I finish it ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Successful shopping😚 - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 15, 2016
The case is luxurious, and I've heard the coverage is not great, but personal experience may vary. For me, it was around medium coverage. Even in shade 30, it wasn't too dark as it has a pink base! Most importantly, it doesn't feel sticky and has a semi-matte finish that applies smoothly. It also doesn't cake when correcting and leaves a flawless finish, like the first application. First of all, the price is around 75,000 won without a refill, which is burdensome. In terms of color, the pink base may divide opinions. Those with warm undertones may not like it much. Shade 30 is not 23, but just has a strong pink color base. And while the coverage felt good to me, if you have a lot of blemishes or spots, you may feel it's lacking. Also, the case is luxurious, but it gets dirty easily, and the cushion product gets on the cover a lot. The puff also tends to rise, so be sure to apply a lot of moisturizer and don't apply it directly on the face, or it will leave powder on the skin.
