It brightens my complexion so naturally, which I absolutely love. It's not thick at all, so it absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. However, the staying power is disappointing. About 4-5 hours after application, when I cleansed my face, I noticed blemishes starting to appear. Because of this, it's become one of those products I rarely reach for these days. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 20, 2018
The texture feels plump and bouncy. It has a nice application and absorbs well. It's extremely hydrating and has a pleasant scent. It applies naturally to the skin. While it applies naturally, the staying power is really poor. After about 2 hours, it's completely gone. It pills with everything you put on top, even just sunscreen - it's like magic! For combination skin, it's very moisturizing but also quite rich. Recommended for dry skin types. Recommended for dry skin. If you use it, apply a small amount and pair it with a more matte brightening moisturizer. Be careful to close the lid tightly and avoid getting product on the cap. If exposed to air for too long, any residue on the lid can harden and become jelly-like. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 14, 2018
The texture is like silken tofu and feels wonderfully hydrating. When applied, it looks so natural that even with just this cream on bare skin, it beautifully evens out my skin tone. It seems like a product I can use with peace of mind for everyday wear. It's a bit too runny and drips off the back of my hand. I wish they could make it slightly more viscous. You know how we usually apply a base before makeup? I think this could work as a substitute for that base. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 30, 2017
I was also very interested in whitening, so I bought a lot of products, but with this product, I applied it consistently after washing my face before bed! There wasn't a huge effect, but there was a temporary whitening effect! It was also moisturizing and I quite liked it. My skin wasn't particularly sensitive, but it stung a little bit. And sometimes I would apply it before going to school, and since the way to school was uphill, I had to run up, and from running, my face would get hot, so I don't know if that's why it didn't absorb well and would still feel a bit sticky when I got there...! Please keep that in mind. Oh, and! I don't have any wrinkles on my face, but from constantly rubbing it(?), it would clump up and come out like dirt, not flakes or anything, but I'm not sure why that happened ㅠㅠ I wouldn't particularly recommend it to oily-skinned people ㅠㅠ - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 25, 2017
So far, I've used about 4 different whitening creams, and this one seems to be the best. Even though the whitening effect didn't show up dramatically after about 2 weeks, many people said my skin looked transparent and bright! I really enjoy diligently doing my skincare routine, and even though I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, I didn't feel any dryness. In fact, this is the most moisturizing one among all the whitening creams I've bought so far. The other whitening creams tend to pill, but I've been using this one consistently. I'm not sure if it's because of this product or because I didn't wash my face properly before going to bed, but I'm getting some breakouts. I really hope it's just an issue with my cleansing routine ㅠㅠ I finally found a whitening cream that I love, but now I have these little bumps. If only it wasn't for this problem, it would be perfect... I think you should pat this on your skin instead of just rubbing it in. That way, it won't pill up and will absorb better. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2017
I've been using it for about half a bottle, and when applied, it naturally brightens up the complexion!! It's moisturizing and I have oily skin, and it tends to be quite greasy, but when I use this, the greasiness... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinFeb 7, 2017
The skin appears to be brightened and evened out, looking transparent and moisturized. I really liked it. If the skin is not moisturized, it can sometimes get patchy and white. Before using, apply a moisturizing cream all over the face and spread it evenly. You need to apply it thoroughly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 7, 2017
The cosmetic packaging is pretty, and the texture feels like pudding when touched - it's moist and makes me feel good. I had previously purchased and used the essence from the same line, and while I'm not sure about the whitening effects, it was moisturizing and unremarkable, so I expected this product to be similar. When I was purchasing a skin lotion, there was a promotion where a cream was included, and this was the most cost-effective option, so I chose it. When applied, it leaves a white cast on my face, like a mask... I've tried applying all sorts of products, including this cream, and even after using a mist, my face still feels dry and itchy. It leaves a powdery residue in my pores and clumps in certain areas. It's not quite suitable to use as a cream, nor as a base. I'm not sure if I should just throw it away or if there's another way to use it. I've used it a few times, and each time, my skin freaks out, turning white and patchy... I'm too embarrassed to go out after applying it, but using it at home isn't great for my skin either. It accentuates my wrinkles, pores, and flaky skin, making it look like I have breakouts. I'm not sure how to use this product or if it's even effective... I wish I had just bought the sleeping cream from the same line instead. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 6, 2017
I have sensitive skin and tend to get breakouts easily. I imagine many of you may be in the same boat. When I first tried this product from Etude House, I hastily chose the whitening one, thinking it would brighten my skin. But I deeply regret that decision - it turned my skin into a whitening cream, rather than just a nice, natural glow. It's a good product to just slap on your bare face though, as it has a nice, moderate level of moisture. However, even after just one use, small pimples started popping up little by little. But the problem doesn't end there - as the initial moisture starts to fade, looking in the mirror, you can see it's become all clumped up in certain areas. Ugh, it's so gross. Hmm, I'd recommend that those with sensitive skin avoid this product. It's better to look for something else. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 20, 2016
What can I say, it's like a pudding, isn't it? It has a unique texture. It applies smoothly and feels very moisturizing. It seems like a good product to apply lightly. It might be good in the summer, but in this transitional season like now, it can be a bit drying.
