Not too heavy, it applies smoothly, making exfoliation easy. I gently massage it just enough to avoid irritation, then rinse with water. While it doesn't leave a squeaky-clean feeling and there's a sense of emulsion residue, I actually prefer this! As someone with very dry skin, I usually experience intense tightness after cleansing, but this scrub doesn't make my face feel tight at all, despite being an exfoliant. It's super hydrating and moisturizing! Plus, it removes dead skin cells effectively without being too harsh.
ConsThe texture is like an emulsion, so it feels a bit like rubbing with sand grains, which might be too intense for sensitive skin if you scrub too hard. It would be even better if the formula was slightly more firm and elastic!
TipAlthough it contains AHA, considering it's a cleansing product that gets washed off, I leave the scrub on for about 1-3 minutes before rinsing. For example, I cleanse my face, wash my hair, then apply the scrub but don't rinse it off immediately. I wash my body, and then rinse my face. Body rinsing doesn't take long, right? For those who take longer with body wash and rinsing, adjust the timing accordingly! Don't leave it on for too long as it might cause irritation. My method is just something I do without any scientific basis, just my personal preference.
