Although it's a scrub, it leaves my face feeling moisturized and soft after use While it's hydrating and gentle, I'm disappointed that it seems to leave a residual feeling on my face - ys******Dry SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2020
It's a bit rough, but the affordable price makes it easy to use generously. I've been using it once a week, and I'm pleased to see my skin texture improving. The ingredients could be better. Also, the granules are quite coarse, so it might be too harsh for those with super sensitive skin... Grab it when Etude House has a sale! - re*****Combination SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 15, 2019
Holy grail product! If your makeup flakes due to dead skin cells, skip the peeling gel and get this instead. It takes less time to use than a peeling gel, removes dead skin cells much more effectively, and isn't harsh on the skin. It's even affordable with a generous amount that'll last ages. This has become my go-to for exfoliation. It's the best product I've tried from Etude House. There's no particular scent, and it's a white cream formula with small particles. Just gently massage it, and you don't need to do it for long - the dead skin cells disappear quickly! It worked fine for me, but depending on your skin type, it might cause irritation. - al********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 14, 2019
It's great for a quick scrub in the shower. The granules are quite firm and don't dissolve easily, which is excellent for exfoliating dead skin cells. The scent is pleasant too. After rinsing, it feels like a soft protective layer is left on the skin. It can be a bit harsh on the skin, so you need to use a gentle touch and not apply too much pressure when scrubbing. - to*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 1, 2019
The finish becomes quite soft and smooth, which I really like the feel of. Surprisingly, it doesn't cause any blemishes, so I occasionally purchase this product when it's on sale. Right after use, my skin looks a bit brighter. It seems to be a decent AHA product for its affordable price range. While it's okay for managing dead skin cells, I'm not sure if it's effective for blackheads as I can't really tell much difference. Rather than using it after a shower when pores are open, it seems less drying to apply it lightly after just washing your face. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedNov 4, 2018
After using it, I love how it moisturizes without making my skin feel tight. It leaves a smooth, silky feeling. I haven't used it many times yet, so I haven't noticed any reduction in dead skin cells. Still waiting to see results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedOct 4, 2018
When I first bought it, I only used it on my nose, but I noticed quite a different feeling between my nose and cheeks. It's a bit smooth? So I tried it on my face too, and it definitely feels softer. I have dry skin, but there's not much skin tightness. I'm not sensitive, so if nothing breaks out on my face after using it, I plan to keep buying and using it. I'm not sure yet since it hasn't gotten into my eyes or caused any blemishes on my skin. Just keep gently massaging it in for best results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedSep 21, 2018
The large particles definitely provide effective dead skin cell removal. After rinsing with water and washing my face, I didn't experience that typical dryness or skin tightness. My skin felt hydrated. However, unlike other cleansers that leave your skin feeling squeaky clean, this one leaves a slightly slippery feeling. I didn't mind it, but it might be a matter of personal preference. Due to the large particles, this might be too harsh for those with super sensitive skin. While I don't have particularly sensitive skin and used it well, I limited use to once every 1-2 weeks depending on my skin's needs. Be extremely careful not to get it in your eyes - even a tiny amount can cause intense pain. Once, I accidentally got some in my eye and hours later, while lying down to sleep, I suddenly felt a searing pain as if my eye was being torn apart. I had to rinse my eye under running water, and eventually, a white particle came out. Please be very cautious when using this. It gave me quite a fright in the middle of the night! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 7, 2018
I initially used the mild gel type, but then a staff member recommended the scrub version. While it's a bit more intense than the mild gel, I feel like it removes more dead skin cells. After using it, my entire face feels super soft! The scent is subtle, making it easy to use regularly. The granules are quite large, which makes it feel a bit too harsh and slightly tingling. I have to use it very gently, rubbing as softly as possible, which is a bit disappointing. If you have super sensitive skin, I'd recommend sticking with the mild gel version! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 23, 2018
I tried this product for the first time, but I couldn't find any positive aspects. When I first used it, the granules felt like coarse salt. Even though I knew it was for the face, I momentarily thought it was for body use. If you're like me and have skin that reacts badly to harmful ingredients, absolutely avoid this product. My skin condition had been improving this year as I switched to products without harmful ingredients, but after using this, my diminishing blemishes turned into severe acne. (Even though my skin was troubled, my forehead and nose were clear, but now blemishes are appearing there too.) I've been living a more regular lifestyle, drinking more water, and avoiding snacks, sodas, and instant noodles, yet my skin is getting worse. I can't think of any other reason except this product. I'm scared to continue using it as I fear my face will be completely covered in blemishes, so I'm planning to buy a different product. Again, if you have skin sensitive to harmful ingredients, do not purchase this. Oh, and I just remembered - after using this product, the applied areas became itchy.
