I've heard that products containing retinyl palmitate can cause serious skin issues like genetic mutations and tumors when exposed to sunlight. So why put it in a BB cream meant for daytime use? It absorbs really well. The ingredients are better than I expected. I bought it as a set with a cushion, but I don't use the cushion much. I just apply this BB cream directly on my face. Personally, I don't like the cushion that comes with the compact. It doesn't apply well, so I just use my hands to apply it.
