Pros
My skin is a bit dehydrated and sensitive. As it's winter, my skin is extremely dry, so I was looking for a good night cream and found the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate. I normally use Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate and it works really well for my skin, making it soft and hydrated, so I had high hopes for this Kiehl's product as well. It definitely provides more substantial hydration compared to my regular moisturizer. The texture is better than expected for a night balm - it applies smoothly without feeling too heavy or greasy. It's thicker than a regular cream, but not to the point where I need to melt it or it drags when applying. It just glides on effortlessly. The absorption is also decent - I don't have to really work it into my skin, and I find it's fully absorbed by the time I'm done with my other nighttime routine steps. Since it lasts longer than my usual moisturizer, this is a godsend for someone like me who struggles with dry skin in the winter and isn't satisfied with regular hydrating creams. I don't even need to use a separate facial oil with this, it's that nourishing.
Cons
The scent... the scent is just awful ㅜㅜ I'm not usually very sensitive to smells, and I don't mind the fragrances in most of the other products I use, except for shampoo. But with this, I just can't ignore the unpleasant odor, no matter how hard I try ㅜ
Tip
If the night balm feels too heavy during your morning routine, you can use your regular moisturizer and just apply a thin layer of the balm on top to lock in the hydration for longer.

It had good moisturizing properties as it was a night-time type. It felt like my skin was being filled in.
Cons
It stung a bit when I first applied it. I'm not sure why that was the case... And the scent, haha, it's really not great. It's hard to even describe what the scent is like. Those with oily skin might want to avoid it as it has an oily feel to it!

I realized that even in the summer, my skin is extremely dry, so I came to modify my personal information. I used the Ultra Facial Moisturizing Balm in the summer for cleansing, toning, and applying a light cream, layering it thickly on my face. The next day, my skin felt smooth and radiant.

It was so dry that I tried applying the sample I received. There was a huge mess with white flaky skin, but after using it for three days, it immediately calmed down and I felt like my skin was instantly replenished with moisture.
Cons

I used to use Ultra Facial, but I switched to this sample! Along with its complexity, if used incorrectly, it can cause pimples and acne, but this one seems really mild and good!! Even when I used Ultra, there was a tightening sensation, but this completely resolved it!!! I'm still using it now and loving it!

The moisturizing effect is really strong. It's great. When I mix it with my usual all-in-one product, which lacks moisture, there are no breakouts and my skin feels hydrated.
Cons
The smell is a bit strange haha. I got used to it after using it, but at first, I didn't want to apply it. Kiehl's products are usually like that.

It's so nice to use in the winter Using it with the antioxidant oil, I was able to get through the dry winter well
Cons
On the other hand, in the summer it's too rich I don't recommend it. I'll try using it again when winter comes back
