It's good to apply it thickly like a night cream type, especially in the winter and deep winter.

If you apply this directly after toner without a moisturizer, you'll actually end up with a different kind of tightness, not dryness. To use this product properly, you have to make sure your skin is well-hydrated with a moisturizer first, and then just lightly layer this on top.

I have extremely dry skin, so even just applying a moisturizer can sometimes leave me feeling a bit tight. When that happens, I'll scoop out some of this product, warm it up in my palms, and then press it into my skin. It's a lifesaver, especially in the winter!

I'm not usually very sensitive to smells, and I don't mind the fragrances in most of the other products I use, except for shampoo.
But with this, I just can't ignore the unpleasant odor, no matter how hard I try ㅜ

My skin is a bit dehydrated and sensitive.
As it's winter, my skin is extremely dry, so I was looking for a good night cream and found the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate.
I normally use Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate and it works really well for my skin, making it soft and hydrated, so I had high hopes for this Kiehl's product as well.

It definitely provides more substantial hydration compared to my regular moisturizer.
The texture is better than expected for a night balm - it applies smoothly without feeling too heavy or greasy.
It's thicker than a regular cream, but not to the point where I need to melt it or it drags when applying. It just glides on effortlessly.
The absorption is also decent - I don't have to really work it into my skin, and I find it's fully absorbed by the time I'm done with my other nighttime routine steps.
Since it lasts longer than my usual moisturizer, this is a godsend for someone like me who struggles with dry skin in the winter and isn't satisfied with regular hydrating creams.
I don't even need to use a separate facial oil with this, it's that nourishing.

To improve the application, you can warm up the product in your palms before use, or mix it with a thinner cream-type product.

I'm quite sensitive to scents, so the product's distinctive fragrance wasn't particularly appealing to me.
And being an oily-skinned person, the heavy, balm-like texture was a bit off-putting.

After using it for about 5-6 days, I started getting little bumps on my face ㅜㅜ So I'm not using it right now, but they're almost all gone, so I'm planning to start using it again once my skin is fully healed.

This has amazing moisturizing power!! Since it's nighttime, the formula doesn't slide off, so when you apply it to your face, it spreads easily. I first dab it on the back of my hand and gently rub it in before applying it to my face, and the moisturizing power is just incredible. I was amazed the moment I put it on - I couldn't even feel dryness. Out of everything I've tried, this seems to be the best in terms of moisturizing. But no matter how good it is, if you apply too much, your face won't be able to fully absorb it~ If you feel like your skin needs a lot of moisture, I'd recommend using this.
