The container isn't transparent, so it's impossible to gauge how much product I've used. That's the most inconvenient aspect! 
ha*******Combination SkinApr 11, 2022I've been using this as a gift from a friend. It's a golden yellow essence with a very rich texture, but it doesn't feel heavy on the face and absorbs well. It seems perfect for that tricky period just before summer. The pump doesn't dispense much, so you need to pump it a few times for one application. I haven't experienced any blemishes, and since I'm currently using toner and cream without much oil, adding this essence in between seems to provide extra hydration and moisture. The container is a bit heavy, and it's difficult to see how much product is left. ✔Skin Type I tend to pay attention to pores. T-zone is oily, U-zone is dry, and butterfly zone is slightly oily. There is some tightness and dryness. ✔Texture and Application The watery texture is quite runny, so you need to apply it immediately after dispensing. Perhaps that's why the application is also good. At first, it may feel heavy, but once applied, it absorbs well and spreads lightly. ✔Convenience and Hygiene Similar to a regular essence, it's contained in a bottle, so it's easy to dispense the desired amount. Since the exposed surface area is small, it can be used hygienically. ✔Volume and Price At 40ml for 55,000 won, it's a reasonable price for a premium line that includes red ginseng extract, 99% pure gold, and silk amino acids. It's a great deal when on sale! ✔Fragrance As someone sensitive to fragrances, the scent didn't bother me. ✔Moisturizing Personally, I find the Ginsenoroyal line a bit heavy if used alone, so I like to use it as part of a routine - skin, essence, eye cream, and then cream or emulsion to finish. The moisturizing power is amazing, no need to say more. ✔Repurchase Intention 🥰😍🤩😘 The only downside is that the watery texture may be a hit or miss for some people.

It doesn't feel sticky and leaves a fresh finish. The oil content isn't too strong, making it suitable as a base product to apply during the middle stages of skincare. The pump feels quite sturdy, which is great for controlling the amount - at least in my opinion. Even after absorption, some gold particles remain on the face. This makes me a bit hesitant to apply it in the morning. Given its appearance, some might be surprised by the lack of oiliness or stickiness, thinking 'Is that it?' The container design makes it impossible to control the amount dispensed. This essence is more concentrated than I expected, absorbs well, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It doesn't even have a noticeable scent, which is fine by my standards.

The texture is slightly thinner than the Ginseng Royal Watery Cream. It's so hydrating that you could finish your routine with just this essence. Perfect for dry and very dry skin types, especially during the harsh winter months. I wish it didn't contain PEGs and fragrances. Although among the Ginseng Royal line, the PEGs are listed towards the end of the ingredient list... it would be better if they were removed completely. 
Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 22, 2020It's truly hydrating! When I apply it before bed, my skin feels incredibly soft the next morning. While it's moisturizing, it's also really sticky. If you don't like that tacky feeling, I wouldn't recommend it. 
po******Combination SkinJun 5, 2020My mom received three as a gift and gave me one to try. The container is opaque, so it's hard to tell, but I think I've used more than half. 1. It has good moisturizing power. 2. It feels slightly sticky, but it applies well and absorbs quickly. When you touch your skin after, there's a slight bouncy stickiness left. 3. One or two pumps give you just the right amount. Considering I apply quite a few products, that seems reasonable. 4. Usually it's fine, but occasionally my face stings like contact dermatitis (probably from frequently rubbing my face with cotton pads). Even then, using this wasn't a problem. 5. My mom and sister have super sensitive skin (products that didn't work for them: Sulwhasoo basic 2-step, Elensilia snail cream, Kiehl's moisturizer), but they've already finished this one. 1. The fragrance is too strong. The scent itself isn't bad, but I prefer skincare products with less intense fragrances... (Or maybe it's just not my style... haha) If one product alone has this much scent, using a full skincare routine would be like applying perfume to your face. 2. The container looks similar in size to a 100ml one, but it only contains 40ml. 3. Neither my mom, sister, nor I plan to repurchase this product. I've been using this all winter and my skin feels so hydrated! It's not greasy at all and my makeup applies beautifully over it. After applying, there's some glitter left on my face. It's also hard to tell how much product is left in the container.

Well, I guess the scent is typical for cosmetics and not unpleasant. The color is pretty too. But... I decided to switch up my skincare and bought this because it was pricier and seemed to have better ingredients than my previous product. They say you should give a new cosmetic at least a week, right? But my skin reacted badly after just one day. I started getting blemishes I never had before. At first, I thought it might be an adjustment period, but it only got worse the more I used it. I regret pushing through for a whole week. It was a misguided experiment. Now I've just been using it as a body lotion to avoid wasting it completely.
