It has that signature MAC lipstick scent, you know what I mean? I received this as a gift - it's quite a unique shade. It's like a deep pink, but with more of a red undertone! The texture is matte. Unfortunately, it fades away too quickly. Such a shame, really! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2020
It's perfect for those with a light undertone! The satin finish is a lifesaver on days when your lips feel dry. I was pleasantly surprised by the ingredients - despite my initial concerns, the pigments listed as 'caution ingredients' aren't harmful at all. So, the formula is actually quite good! While it might seem pricey, it's actually more affordable than other department store lipsticks. Plus, you can snag it for even less at duty-free shops! Being a satin type, it does wear off more easily than matte lipsticks after eating, which is a bit of a bummer. - bl*******Normal SkinJan 24, 2017
Calling all summer muted tones struggling to find the right shade - this is the lipstick to buy! Just a heads up, if you're extremely fair-skinned, it might be a tad dark. But for those around shade 21, it's a must-have. Applied lightly, it's the ultimate MLBB (My Lips But Better). Concentrate the color in the center and blend outwards for a subtle, sultry look. It's a muted, dark plum that's become my go-to. Who knew this 'red bean paste' shade I once thought was for older ladies would become my favorite? On me, a gradient looks better than full coverage - it's surprisingly deep for a full lip look. Being a satin formula, it doesn't quite match up to matte lipsticks in terms of staying power. After eating, it tends to cling to the lip line, potentially giving you that 'ring around the mouth' look (no offense intended, it's just descriptive!). You know what I mean, right? Still, it's more comfortable than matte formulas without being glossy, so the initial color payoff and feel are satisfying enough to overlook this. Here's a tried-and-true tip: if your lip line is dark or uneven, clean it up with foundation or concealer before applying the gradient. It's an oldie but a goodie! Personally, I apply Dior Glow first, then clean up my lip line with concealer before doing the gradient. (Sorry for mentioning Dior Glow here, but it really helps the lipstick adhere beautifully!) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 22, 2016
I was hesitant at first because it wasn't a popular choice, but this shade is absolutely perfect for fall and winter! It's incredibly beautiful. While it's not overly matte, my lips are naturally very dry, so applying it directly was challenging. However, I found that using a lip primer beforehand makes it work well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinMar 18, 2016
The color payoff is absolutely top-notch! The staying power is fantastic too! None whatsoever!
