I used it for just one day, and it doesn't seem to suit my skin well. The description claims it removes dead skin cells. As soon as I applied it, I felt a stinging sensation. The fragrance is also quite bothersome. And the color is slightly orange, which made me wonder why it's that shade. It seems to be an exfoliating toner, but honestly, I can't recommend it. The irritation hits you immediately. - al*******Dry SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2021
# Pixi Glow Tonic Skin type: Extremely dry / Slight redness / Rarely gets blemishes I use Stridex for exfoliation and sebum control, so I don't use Pixi Glow Tonic too often - maybe once every 1-2 weeks. It's a bit too intense for frequent use on my sensitive skin. I typically incorporate it into my nighttime routine. I saturate a cotton pad with the tonic and gently swipe it across my face. The next morning, my skin looks incredibly clear and radiant! While I don't use it daily, I always make sure to apply it the night before important events. The results are so dramatic, it's become my secret weapon for special occasions. Application: It's a liquid tonic. After soaking a cotton pad generously, I sweep it across my face. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling smooth. However, for my dry skin, this tonic alone isn't enough - I always follow up with an emulsion and cream. Effects: Amazing at removing dead skin cells! It noticeably refines my skin texture, giving me that coveted 'Inner Glow' the next day. The main drawbacks are that it can be a bit irritating for frequent use, and you have to purchase it from overseas (I usually buy mine from iHerb). - c7********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 25, 2020
After purchasing this globally beloved product, I was quite satisfied with the results. Despite containing AHA, it was generally non-irritating unless your skin was in poor condition, and I rarely experienced any tingling sensation. It excelled in its primary function of dead skin cell removal and was effective in refining the skin. As for the scent, I expected it to be floral like the product's color, but it actually had a clean, almost scentless fragrance. While it's not exactly a pleasant aroma, it's certainly not off-putting either. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the need to purchase through a buying service. Although you can get it at a relatively affordable price considering its effectiveness, there's a bit of hassle with shipping. Also, the dramatic results aren't quite as extreme as some of the rave reviews might suggest. It's best to think of it as a product that simply helps cleanse skin impurities like dead skin cells. I believe it's loved as a cost-effective option. - he*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 4, 2020
I love how it naturally exfoliates dead skin cells without being too harsh. I'm planning to repurchase. It's hard to find. The inconvenience of having to order from overseas every time is a bit frustrating. I absolutely don't use it daily, but rather every 2-3 days. Since it's a chemical exfoliant, using it daily can be a bit irritating for the skin. - jo*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 11, 2020
I've only been using it for about a week, but it's absolutely amazing! As summer approached, I suddenly developed an unmanageable amount of blemishes on my forehead and nose. I tried everything and bought over 7 new skincare products, which was incredibly stressful. This toner was my last attempt, and it turned out to be a game-changer. Almost all of my blemishes have disappeared, and my skin truly glows as the name suggests. My skin texture has improved dramatically too! There are no downsides! It's actually difficult to find anything negative to say about this product. I have oily skin and use this every evening, followed by a soothing mask with thermal spring water mist like Avène. It's absolutely fantastic! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 25, 2020
As someone with dry skin prone to blemishes, I found this product really helped clear up my complexion. When I first used it, I experienced a slight tingling sensation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2020
My skin has become so glowy, I love it! For reference, I have quite resilient skin, so I vigorously massaged this in both morning and night. I can't really think of any downsides. There don't seem to be any. Maybe the fact that you might need to buy it from overseas? Though that might not even be necessary... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2020
It's great to keep this AHA toner on hand for blemish-prone skin. I always make sure to stock up on this product. It's quite expensive if you buy it in Korea. I recommend purchasing it from international sites like iHerb or RoseRoseShop. While shipping takes longer, it's much cheaper, so it's best to time your purchases accordingly. - so********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 11, 2019
I use this as an exfoliating toner two to three times a week, and it's effective for managing dead skin cells. While the results aren't immediately noticeable, you can tell the difference when you stop using it. The package design is quite attractive. Although I don't have particularly sensitive skin, depending on my skin condition, it can cause a burning sensation or tingling when applying. It's challenging to find large sizes by Korean standards, and the price isn't particularly reasonable. The best strategy is to keep an eye out for iHerb sales... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2019
1. Gentle dead skin cell removal effect 2. Reduction in small blemishes There was a very slight improvement, just a tiny bit!! 3. Impurity removal Even without using an exfoliating toner aggressively, it effectively removed impurities 1. It stings. It stings quite a bit. Although I have sensitive skin, I don't think I can use it frequently 2. Lack of hydration If you only use this as a toner, it can be drying due to the alcohol content You might need to use another watery toner or hydrating toner alongside it 3. Strong scent I don't use fragranced products often so it's okay for me, but it does have a rather intense smell Those with sensitivities should take note
