Pros
It absorbs well and has great application. When applied, it brightens your complexion and gives a beautiful glow.
Cons
Unfortunately, it's quite pricey for the amount you get.
Tip
I mix a small drop with my foundation for a thin layer application.

Pros
It's perfect for quick trips out of the house. Makes my skin look great and gives my face a dewy glow.
Cons
It's best not to leave it on for too long and to remove it promptly. The fine shimmer particles are a bit concerning.

Pros
The brightening and hydrating effects are top-notch! As someone with dry, sensitive skin, the clear emulsion-like texture of this essence is perfect for me. In summer, I finish my routine with just this, while during seasonal changes and winter, I layer it generously under my moisturizer.
Cons
The price is wickedly high, as expected. And why are the ingredients like this? Phenoxyethanol and methylparaben are disappointing.
Tip
Buying it at duty-free shops is a real bargain.

Pros
When applied, it gives a subtle pearlescent effect and brightens the skin to some extent. After application, when you put on makeup, it blends with the pearlescent effect to create a glow, earning compliments on how well your makeup sits on your skin. My skincare routine for brightening includes: SK-II Clear Lotion > Pitera Essence > Extreme Luminescence Essence > Vitamin or Niacinamide Ampoule > SK-II New Age Cream Whether it's due to the Extreme Luminescence Essence or the Vitamin/Niacinamide, I'm not sure, but my complexion seems to have improved slightly, although the effects aren't dramatically noticeable.
Cons
For an 'Extreme Luminescence' essence... it doesn't quite live up to its name as I don't feel like my face has noticeably brightened. I suppose it's challenging for a cosmetic product to achieve significant skin brightening on its own. The price is quite steep, and the ingredients list is somewhat disappointing. The brightening effect isn't particularly strong, and it feels lacking when used as a standalone product.

Pros
I was really satisfied with how this essence alone could create a beautiful dewy glow. It also works great when mixed with other products. The long-lasting hydration exceeded my expectations!
Cons
Everything about it is great, except the ingredients could be a bit better for the price point.

Pros
This essence is the cream of the crop! It's the best I've ever used. There's a special glow that's unique to SK-II's Facial Treatment Essence. While the radiance from dermatological treatments is nice, I prefer the glow I get from this essence. It's not just an oily sheen - my skin feels deeply hydrated, but the surface remains fresh and velvety. The result is a beautiful, luminous, and luxurious glow. Plus, the fragrance is absolutely divine!
Cons
When I used this product alone, I saw no results at all. However, when I used the full SK-II line - Clear Lotion, Facial Treatment Essence, GenOptics Aura Essence, and R.N.A. Power Cream - in that order, the effects were truly dramatic. Using just one product isn't enough; the results are minimal or non-existent, which makes it feel like a waste of money. I can only use it as part of the full line. If I stop using it, my skin reverts back to its previous state after about a week. The pressure to keep using it consistently is real!
Tip
The effects are most noticeable when used with other SK-II products. The perfect combination for this essence is: Clear Lotion, Facial Treatment Essence, GenOptics Aura Essence, and R.N.A. Power Cream. Using this essence alone makes it really hard to see results. If you're going to use it by itself, your skin needs to be free of dead skin cells and well-hydrated. Exfoliation is absolutely essential! Otherwise, it just feels very drying - perhaps because the dead skin cells absorb everything? When applying makeup, using this essence with foundation or cushion creates a beautiful skin finish.

It really gives a radiant glow. It makes your skin look vibrant and alive.

Pros
I've always wanted to try this brand, and I'm quite satisfied with my first product. The texture is thin and spreads easily, so a little goes a long way. I vaguely thought SK-II would be oily, but it's not. Despite my extremely oily skin, it's neither sticky nor drying, providing just the right amount of hydration that feels comfortable. It's white with lots of shimmer, which might be why I love the glow it gives my face after application. I usually break out immediately if a product doesn't suit me, but this caused no blemishes, which is reassuring. The brightening effect needs more time to evaluate, but I'm already very satisfied. Plus, the luxurious packaging is a nice bonus.
Cons
Since it was a gift, I'm using it without guilt, but the price is truly wicked for purchasing it myself. If only it had a generous volume like Sisley's essence emulsion... The cost factor will definitely cause some internal conflict when considering repurchasing.

Pros
I've been using this product since it first came out, even before the renewal. I really like the glowing effect from the pearl. And as I apply it, my skin seems to become brighter from within, which is very fitting. People used to say my skin looked great, but after I stopped using it, it became dull again.
Cons
The high price is a downside. I'm trying to look for similar products, as I'm not completely satisfied.
