It's hard to say if it's particularly good or bad. It's just average. The hydration isn't exceptionally effective, but it's not ineffective either. It contains titanium dioxide, which provides a slight brightening effect. There's also a pearlescent quality that gives a pretty, even skin tone. If you want a natural, no-makeup makeup look during the day, you could apply this and then a suitable amount of sunscreen. The main issue is the inclusion of titanium dioxide... Don't apply this at night, as it may clog pores or cause blemishes. It's an ingredient that tricks you into thinking your face is becoming lighter! Considering the price, I wonder if there's really a compelling reason to use this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 20, 2023
I've been using this for nearly a decade. It's a product I can't give up because it brightens my complexion when I use it. If I stop using it for about a week, my skin seems to revert back to its original state. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2023
I tried this product because of my blemishes, and it definitely lightened them a bit. It's also quite moisturizing, which was great for my dry skin. The price is high for the amount you get, which might make regular use a bit costly. Pro tip: Press the dropper before opening the bottle to get the emulsion out more easily. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 1, 2023
While I need to add more hydration with toner than usual, my overall complexion definitely looks brighter. I'm satisfied using this just when my skin looks dullest during the year or when spring sunshine starts, even if not year-round. The price is quite steep unless you're buying it duty-free or with a card discount. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2022
It absorbs well and has great application. When applied, it brightens your complexion and gives a beautiful glow. Unfortunately, it's quite pricey for the amount you get. I mix a small drop with my foundation for a thin layer application. - eu******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2022
Brightening effect: I didn't expect much, but after just a week of use, my complexion noticeably brightened. I was worried since I have super sensitive skin, but fortunately, it suits my skin well. Hydration: Even a small amount provides hydration to the entire face. I only applied this brightening moisturizer after toner, and my skin felt comfortable all day long. Repurchase: This will likely become an item I'll stock up on during duty-free shopping opportunities. It's a bit disappointing that I can only use it during the day due to the titanium dioxide in the ingredients. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 14, 2021
It's perfect for quick trips out of the house. Makes my skin look great and gives my face a dewy glow. It's best not to leave it on for too long and to remove it promptly. The fine shimmer particles are a bit concerning. - ja********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 15, 2021
The brightening and hydrating effects are top-notch! As someone with dry, sensitive skin, the clear emulsion-like texture of this essence is perfect for me. In summer, I finish my routine with just this, while during seasonal changes and winter, I layer it generously under my moisturizer. The price is wickedly high, as expected. And why are the ingredients like this? Phenoxyethanol and methylparaben are disappointing. Buying it at duty-free shops is a real bargain. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2021
This is the best essence I've ever used for my skin. I have sensitive, blemish-prone skin, but this product didn't cause any irritation. It was also great for balancing oil and moisture levels. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey for the amount you get. - my****Combination SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresOct 25, 2021
Here's my review after finishing a 50ml bottle. I applied it generously with the dropper, sometimes even more when I felt like it, without holding back. While using more doesn't necessarily maximize the effects, I believe that being stingy with application prevents any skincare product from reaching its full potential. I purchased the full set including the Pitera Essence 230ml and the RNA Power Original Cream. I've heard that using products from the same brand can enhance their effectiveness, so this was my first time unifying all my skincare basics under one brand. The fragrance reminds me of flowers. While I don't notice dryness during application, my skin feels dry if I don't follow up with a cream after the essence. Some reviews mentioned that tiny pearls in the product make your face look radiant, but I didn't notice that on my face. However, my palms were certainly sparkling after application! There weren't any dramatic effects. While it definitely seemed to even out my overall complexion, I didn't really notice any fading of existing blemishes. To be honest, at this price point, I think laser treatments might be more effective. Nevertheless, this product has been famous for a long time, and I've always wanted to try it. So I'm satisfied with fulfilling that wish! 1. Dryness when used alone 2. No significant changes despite using it with Pitera Essence and RNA Power Cream 3. Priced similarly to laser treatments It's a hundred times better than Est** Rapid Brightening Essence
