This lip balm feels hydrating, smoothing out dry lips rather than just softening dead skin cells. It applies cleanly with minimal stickiness and doesn't feel heavy. The moisturizing effect lasts reasonably well too.

I've been using this lip balm consistently for 3 years now! It's so good that I even asked my mom to buy 5 of them from duty-free shops to stock up! It's great for winter, of course, but it's also perfect for summer use! There's no stickiness, and unlike other lip balms, it doesn't melt in the heat! I highly recommend Vichy lip balms! They're pricey, but one tube lasts a long time.

It's expensive. And because of the oiliness, I keep licking it off my lips, so I have to reapply frequently.

If you're planning to apply it over lipstick, a squeeze tube format like Popo Cream would be neater. The Vichy lip balm is good for applying directly on bare lips.

Looking at the ingredients on Hwahae, there are a few concerning ones. Also, while I generally like Vichy's signature scent, I feel the fragrance is a bit overpowering for a lip balm.

I had symptoms of cheilitis, but using Vichy really helped alleviate it. Cheilitis is a scary condition where dead skin cells on the lips keep appearing endlessly, and even with lip balm, the corners of the mouth can crack and split due to dryness. Before Vichy, no lip balm could ease my cheilitis, but this one was truly amazing! It also worked great as a lip base.
