This lip balm feels hydrating, smoothing out dry lips rather than just softening dead skin cells. It applies cleanly with minimal stickiness and doesn't feel heavy. The moisturizing effect lasts reasonably well too. It's become difficult to find online, and I haven't seen it much in stores either. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2023
I consider this lip balm to be top-tier. It's unscented, moisturizing, and helps remove dead skin cells. The packaging design has become less appealing than before. I wonder why? Also, it's become difficult to find in offline stores now. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2019
I've been using this lip balm consistently for 3 years now! It's so good that I even asked my mom to buy 5 of them from duty-free shops to stock up! It's great for winter, of course, but it's also perfect for summer use! There's no stickiness, and unlike other lip balms, it doesn't melt in the heat! I highly recommend Vichy lip balms! They're pricey, but one tube lasts a long time. As light as it feels, it can accentuate dead skin cells when your lips are very dry... I apply it lightly or pat it on before using tint or lipstick. - jh*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2019
I used this in a hurry when my lips were all cracked, and it quickly restored them to their original state! The effect is spot-on. It's expensive. And because of the oiliness, I keep licking it off my lips, so I have to reapply frequently. - bo******Combination SkinRecommendedDec 2, 2018
I received this as a gift and used it well for a year. It's great for instant hydration and doesn't feel sticky. When applied before matte lipstick, it goes on smoothly without clumping. It wore off quickly after eating, so I had to reapply often. When I nearly finished it, I tried to scoop out the remaining product to transfer to an empty container, but my finger couldn't reach inside, so I ended up throwing it away. If you're planning to apply it over lipstick, a squeeze tube format like Popo Cream would be neater. The Vichy lip balm is good for applying directly on bare lips. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 5, 2018
Unlike other lip balms that only work briefly and require frequent reapplication, Vichy seems to keep my lips moisturized for longer with just one or two applications in the morning or evening. It truly feels like it's replenishing hydration. My husband, who dislikes other balms for feeling heavy, exclusively asks for the Vichy one. There's not really anything to complain about... Perhaps the only downside is that since it's not as popular as other products, it doesn't go on sale very often. - 10*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinMar 17, 2018
I have dry, chapped lips even in summer. Spicy foods make my lips swell and burn. I carry lip balm year-round and feel anxious meeting people without it. Other products cause dead skin cells to build up and lose moisture quickly, but this one maintains hydration for quite a while. The best part is it doesn't cause flaking on my lips! I use about 2 tubes a year and have been using it for about 5 years. Highly recommended! It seems to run out quickly, probably because I apply it so often. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 29, 2017
I love how the moisturizing effect lasts for such a long time. I've tried many lip balms, but when it comes to longevity, this one truly deserves five stars. It seems to create a protective moisture barrier. I've been using only this for two years now. The price is admittedly a bit steep, but... I usually tend to lose lip balms easily. However, since this one's expensive, I take extra care of it, which actually makes it last longer. When I always apply this before lipstick, my lips don't crack. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 25, 2017
This was the best lip balm I've tried! Though original Vaseline is still the top choice, haha. There weren't any real downsides, but it might not be ideal as a base for lipstick application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDec 9, 2017
It's moisturizing and gentle. It absorbs well without feeling heavy on the skin. The fragrance is a bit strong. I think it would have been better if it were unscented...
