I loved how quickly it absorbs and that there's no sticky feeling. The subtle fragrance is likely to be universally appealing. For an oil, it has a surprisingly light texture, which makes it fall slightly short of being deeply moisturizing - hence the one-star deduction. However, it doesn't leave the skin feeling dry. As someone who prefers products with a richer oil content, I found this aspect a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2019
I actually bought this oil to use for arm and leg massages when getting my skincare certification, but now I'm using it for myself. I purchased it in summer but didn't use it then due to sweating. Now I've taken it out for winter use. The scent is lovely. It's not a heavy or sticky oil (though not exactly light and fresh either). I'm mixing it with body emulsion when applying. I get blemishes on my chest, and this seems to make them worse. So I avoid using it on my chest and only apply it elsewhere. - sd*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2019
Mixing it with a body emulsion seems to enhance the hydration even more, which is great. In winter, I apply the mixture all over, while in summer, I focus on areas that need extra moisture. Blending it with oil improves how well it absorbs into the skin. As for staying power, well... it doesn't seem to last particularly long. Try mixing the body emulsion and oil in a ratio of 1:0.3-0.5. This improves how well it absorbs into your skin. Just remember, too much is a no-no! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedNov 4, 2018
The scent isn't overpowering, and it's not a sticky type of oil. Instead, it feels fresh and light on the skin. It doesn't last as long as other products, and since it's not a heavy oil, I'd recommend it more for normal to oily skin types rather than dry skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 7, 2018
Innisfree Jeju Camellia Body Oil As someone with skin that feels very dry after showering, I often use body butters, creams, or emulsions post-shower. I typically use body butter in winter, body cream during seasonal changes, and body emulsions in summer. After a TV program featured actress Lee Young-ae's skincare secret - camellia oil - I decided to try a body-specific camellia oil product. Camellia oil contains oleic acid, which is similar to skin structure. Its composition, akin to human sebum, forms a protective layer on the skin surface, excellent for maintaining moisture and shielding against external pollutants. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, camellia oil soothes skin and alleviates atopic dermatitis and itching. Traditionally, women used it for hair care too, known for its effectiveness in protecting hair, enhancing shine, and boosting moisture. Usage Experience: Despite being an oil, it surprisingly feels less sticky than an emulsion and quite refreshing. With its low viscosity, it has a runny texture, similar to a watery essence. Ingredients: The primary ingredient is sunflower seed oil, suitable for all skin types and excellent for soothing and moisturizing. It's safe enough for baby products due to its similarity to vernix caseosa. It's non-comedogenic, suitable for oily skin, and acts as a moisturizer and emollient (Vitamin E). It also contains lecithin, which helps prevent UV-induced cell damage. The second most abundant ingredient is Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, a compound of coconut oil and glycerin. It's highly stable against oxidation and forms a protective barrier on the skin, making it an excellent natural moisturizing factor. Price: At 20,000 won for 200ml, it's not cheap compared to emulsions, but as you only need a few drops, it lasts much longer than creams or butters. Moisturizing Power: Unlike body emulsions that require reapplication after sleep, this oil keeps skin looking healthy and glowing even after waking up. Thanks to the sunflower seed oil, it's non-sticky and absorbs quickly, lasting all night. It's fantastic! Fragrance??? I'm disappointed that Innisfree, known for natural cosmetics, used fragrance in this product. Some reviews mention developing small pimples after use, possibly due to the fragrance ingredients. While fragrance can enhance a product's scent, it's known to potentially cause acne and allergic reactions. It would have been a five-star product without the fragrance - such a shame. Pro Tip: I mix this camellia body oil with toner (90% toner, 10% oil) in an empty toner bottle. This method maintains the moisturizing benefits of camellia and sunflower seed oils while providing hydration and forming a protective layer. Although marketed for body use, this versatile product can be used on the face, as a hair essence, and for the body, making it incredibly multi-functional. - Hwahae UserOily SkinNov 25, 2016
After showering, it feels just like an oil when applied. It does provide a moisturizing sensation. After applying it... well, even though I had just showered, I found myself scratching my body uncontrollably for the first time. The first and second times I used it, my legs and arms were slightly itchy, but the third time, my entire body was itching all over. I ended up having to shower again... (For reference, I don't have allergies and have normal skin.) Even after showering again, there was still a slight oily residue left, which might be why the itching persisted. Scratching led to wounds. I've been using Innisfree products so well, so this was the first time I've experienced something like this and it was quite shocking. I bought this oil type product to focus on body hydration during winter, but I won't be repurchasing this oil. It might just not suit me, but if you're considering buying it, please check the ingredient list before purchasing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 11, 2016
It's wonderfully moisturizing and refreshing, with lots of natural ingredients. I trust it and use it regularly. The container is a bit too small. Please give us more product! It's so good, we need a larger quantity. I apply it right after my toner and also mix it in when I'm doing a facial massage. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 4, 2016
The fragrance is really lovely and it has excellent moisturizing power. When applied to damp skin and patted dry with a towel, it leaves a nourishing oil residue that keeps your skin feeling hydrated. Please note this is just my personal opinion. I always use body oils, and they typically fall into two categories for me: those that cause tiny blemishes all over my body after application, and those that do not. Unfortunately, I cannot pinpoint which ingredient causes this reaction, so trying a new body oil always comes with uncertainty. Sadly, this product gifted me with tiny blemishes all over my body. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 22, 2016
As someone with dry skin, I chose this product mainly for hydration, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. My skin kept that dewy glow even until the next morning. I'm a bit sensitive to fragrances, and I have to say the scent wasn't particularly appealing to me... I found it works best when applied with a gentle massage right after showering while the skin is still damp.
