Maybe it's good for combing eyelashes...? This mascara fails to perform its basic function. I wonder if they even tested it before release. It doesn't apply well at all. I bought it on sale, but as someone else mentioned, it feels more like you're just combing your lashes rather than applying mascara. The formula isn't dried out, yet it barely transfers to the lashes. It's so frustrating that I had to throw it away. Don't buy this, seriously! - 13********Combination SkinAcne SkinOct 22, 2018
It's convenient because it's dual-sided, and it seems to lengthen well with the included artificial lashes inside. The upper part is too uncomfortable and doesn't apply smoothly, so I find myself not using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 14, 2017
The color looks natural with no clumping. But it's so subtle that it's barely noticeable - it's like I'm not wearing anything at all! This is truly the worst mascara ever. It doesn't even coat the lashes - it feels like I'm just combing them with a brush. I bought it on sale, so at least it was cheap, but the original price was over $10. The value for money is absolutely terrible. Maybe it's because of the brown color, but it's completely invisible. You have to keep applying it for several minutes to see even a slight difference. I absolutely cannot recommend this. It doesn't even deserve one star. You're better off applying this over black mascara. However, if you hate clumping, I wouldn't recommend this either - it clumps like crazy. - he*********Dry SkinAcne SkinJun 26, 2017
The mascara formula itself seems pretty decent. I really like that it comes with a built-in applicator for the lower lashes. Everything's fine except for the mascara wand. The silicone-like material makes it somewhat difficult to apply, and the brush is too large. If it weren't for that, I'd say it's a good product overall. - ki***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 22, 2017
You can visibly see your lashes getting so much longer when you apply it with the thin brush! The brush is huge, so you might accidentally poke your eye often. I'm not sure if it's just mine, but the mascara hardened after only a few uses, so now I only use the thin brush. The thin brush side is absolutely perfect, no complaints there. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2017
The thin brush was absolutely fantastic! The way it lifts the lashes is no joke. The color was also exactly the brown shade I was looking for. The thick brush was definitely unusable. It was so thick that it felt intimidating. Also, from the moment it arrived, the mascara formula itself was quite clumpy. I haven't repurchased it, but I keep receiving it as gifts, so I'm still using it. The thin brush scores about 90 out of 100 points! The thick brush, maybe about 5 out of 100? Since the thick brush's formula is almost like new, I'm using the thin brush with that. The first photo shows a comparison of the brushes. The thick one is really bigger than I expected. The second photo compares the thin brushes: black on the left, brown on the right. The third photo is from my high school graduation album. I only used the thick brush once back then, so that's the only picture I have of it (it's the black one). - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 17, 2017
First off, I love that it has an under-mascara! The thorough application is also quite nice. My lashes are short and sparse, and this mascara tends to clump, making them look a bit messy. However, if you gently curl your lashes and separate them with a toothpick, it's not bad! But it doesn't add much volume, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 17, 2017
I typically find that black mascara makes my eyes look heavy, and I generally prefer a very natural makeup look. That's why I chose the brown shade, and I'm really pleased with how natural and flattering it is. What's more, it applies smoothly without clumping, which is a big plus. While I absolutely loved the lower lash mascara, I found the upper lash formula a bit challenging to work with. It tends to dispense too much product, making it somewhat difficult to control the application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 8, 2016
The color is beautiful. It's slightly darker and has a reddish tint compared to regular mascaras. Being a dual product makes it easy to use, and I keep using it because the color is so pretty. It applies smoothly without clumping and does a good job of creating long lashes. It also doesn't smudge easily in most cases. The under-lash mascara brush is quite useful. I really dislike the upper mascara brush... I bought two when it launched, not realizing it would have such a firm, silicone-like brush. It's like an elongated version of the Etude Curl Fix brush, but how should I put it... While some might find it good if used well, I personally find a basic brush much easier to use and it applies more beautifully. It takes a bit of time to set, so please be patient. The volume it provides is somewhat lacking. I wouldn't recommend it for those with very sparse lashes... I'd suggest it for coloring and lengthening lashes. Brown mascaras, by nature, may lack definition. If you find it looks a bit dull, I'd recommend the black color instead. Dual mascara + pretty brown color. If you're a fan of brown mascaras, you won't regret buying this. I use the under-lash mascara to comb through the upper lashes thoroughly, then use the upper mascara to lift them properly. Alternatively, you can apply with the upper brush and then gently separate any clumps with the under brush if needed.
