The shade 21 wasn't too light, giving a natural-looking color. It finishes with a soft, matte feel. Even after hours of wear, it doesn't get overly oily. The adherence to the skin is pretty good. There was hardly any darkening of the makeup throughout the day. The level of hydration might be a bit lacking for those with dry skin or during winter months... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 20, 2017
This compact definitely lived up to its claim of not needing touch-ups. It's also quite effective at concealing redness and evening out the complexion. The puff that comes with it is subpar. I switched to a Missha puff, which applies the product much better. You need to really swipe the compact to get enough product; pressing doesn't pick up much. I bought shade 21, the lightest one, but it feels a bit dark? It's noticeably different from other brands' shade 21. Try using a different puff for better results! - ha********Dry SkinSensitive SkinJul 21, 2017
My first BB cream as a student was the tube version from Hanskin, and it was truly amazing! Being a cover pact, it does a great job concealing small blemishes and dark spots. What's more, its essence-like texture is delightfully bouncy, making my dry skin feel hydrated and plump. The way it settles on the skin is just beautiful! It can sometimes apply a bit patchy, and in summer, it tends to make your hair stick to your face - what a mess! That's why you need to finish with powder after application. Also, it doesn't cover deeper blemishes very well. One more thing - the product tends to solidify easily (I've had to throw away unused product because of this, such a waste!). Since it's sticky, make sure to finish with powder! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 8, 2017
It's moisturizing, has great coverage, and works well for touch-ups. Even though I have oily skin, it didn't cake or separate. It felt like I got it for free during an Olive Young promotion! It pills! Even a light swipe with your arm makes it pill! When you press down on oily areas with powder, it flakes off like dead skin cells! However, you can touch it up by reapplying over the top! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopic SkinJun 5, 2017
I honestly can't think of anything particularly good about this product. I have absolutely zero intention of repurchasing it. It's not great at all. First off, it's extremely drying, and the pilling is really bad. - ju********Dry SkinMay 27, 2017
I received this as a bundle when I bought the Hanskin concealer at Olive Young. First off, it's incredibly lightweight, making it easy to carry around. As you can see in the photo, it has a twist-open design, which makes it seem even more compact. (Unlike other cushions and compacts where you open the lid and then twist to access the puff storage, this one twists open directly.) The part that touches the foundation has a unique bumpy texture, which seems more thoughtfully designed compared to other cushions. Plus, I didn't experience any blemishes! Unfortunately, it tends to cake up quite a bit... It also doesn't adhere well to the skin. It's not very moisturizing, and when I applied it hastily, it went on patchy, almost like powder. Even application? Forget about it. I found myself not reaching for this product often. It might work for those with perfectly smooth skin, but it just doesn't seem to 'take' to my skin. Occasionally it works well, but that's rare. As you can see in the photo, after just a few uses, it's all mushed up. If you press too hard, chunks of product come off on the puff. Oh, and being a solid formula, it definitely attracts a ton of dust! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 9, 2017
At first, I thought it wasn't right for me because it didn't adhere well to my skin and tended to separate. However, when I tried using a different puff instead of the one included, it worked much better. In my opinion, it was the puff that was the issue. Apart from the puff, everything else was fine. The included puff was really subpar. After switching to a different puff, I didn't notice any major drawbacks. - il******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresApr 8, 2017
I'm not sure there's much to praise here. I only have it because my mom got it for me. At least it matches my complexion well, so that's one positive. It's far too thick and drying, causing my skin to flake when I apply it these days. I'm only using it because I've run out of my usual compact, but I have to spritz my puff with mist just to make it somewhat usable. I'd recommend saving this for summer use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 31, 2017
I snagged this during a sale at Olive Young, and the price was fantastic - I got both this and a BB cream for under 20,000 won. The coverage is absolutely top-notch! I have combination skin and used this in winter, which left my skin feeling a bit dry. It might work better during the summer months. - sj******Normal SkinMar 28, 2017
I'm on my second one since it comes in a pack of two. As it's my first time using a solid foundation, I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. It seems to have a lot of moisture (you can feel it when you press firmly), but when I apply it, it doesn't go on smoothly and doesn't feel hydrating. I think I might not be using it correctly. Not recommended for winter. Your makeup comes right off. It's a bit better these days though. I use this as a base layer for my foundation and then apply another cushion on top to compensate.
