The cushion has a honeycomb shape, allowing for even application when using the puff. The puff adheres strongly to the skin. The longevity is not great. It doesn't provide good coverage. There's some darkening of the product over time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 19, 2017
Even with a small amount applied, it brightens the complexion. When I don't have any blemishes, it spreads evenly without caking, even with a light application! I have combination skin and bought the Natural Glow version. It has just the right amount of hydration, which I like. The staying power is also good. It feels nice when first applied, but in the evening, my skin feels a bit off. I have combination skin, so my cheeks get very dry, which could be why. In winter, it seems a bit drying unless I constantly spray mist on my face. After applying, if you spray some mist, it looks more hydrated and less cakey. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 24, 2017
I'd recommend this for beginners or those looking for a light-use product. I personally use cushions for adding a final glow to my base or for evening out my complexion when I'm heading out for a quick errand. So, rather than coverage, I focus on longevity, hydration, how well it holds up, whether it turns ashy, or if it darkens over time. This little gem doesn't turn ashy or darken, which is great. It gives just the right amount of glow, so I've been using it religiously for that final luminous touch. It's not overly oily either. I love that it doesn't make you look like a grease ball, but gives a nice glow instead. It doesn't break down. Even when you sweat, it fades beautifully without falling apart. The longevity wasn't that great. It seems to disappear after about three hours, so you need to touch up every two hours. Coverage... well, it conceals small blemishes and redness, but it won't hide acne or moles. Dead skin cell emphasis wasn't an issue at first, but it became noticeable as time passed. To be honest, for this quality, a price point of around $20 would be more appropriate... it's not great value for money. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 28, 2017
It's moisturizing while providing decent coverage. It also didn't cake up much. As time passes, it tends to separate around the nose area and my face becomes oily. - eo**********Dry SkinAcne SkinApr 10, 2017
Brightening effect without darkening, and decent staying power. It's IOPE, so I just trust and use it without thinking too much. Zero coverage. Personally, I have dry skin, but I don't find it moisturizing at all... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 5, 2017
The adherence is good, I guess? That's about all I can say for sure... Oh dear... It's extremely drying and makes my makeup look cakey. It really emphasizes dead skin cells... so disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 12, 2017
When I first started using it, I heard a few people say my skin looked better. It seems to give a subtle glow, and it doesn't apply too thick, so it looks natural. I've never had blemishes from using foundation before, but after using this product, my skin became sensitive and I developed deep acne and small bumps. I bought it cheaply during an Aritaum event with a package deal and VIP membership, but I had no idea this would happen. The store I went to only had this event for the Natural Glow product, which made me suspicious. I wonder if they were selling it off cheaply due to the ingredients. It's a shame to throw it away since I haven't even opened the refill, but I can't give it to someone else when it caused issues for me. While it might work well for others, for me, it's like I paid money for trash. I'm not sure what to think. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 18, 2017
The coverage is decent, and it's moisturizing enough not to look cakey. It applies smoothly, so I find myself using it as my go-to foundation quite often. I wish it had slightly better coverage. It's not bad as it is, but if it did, I'd probably use it even more frequently. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinFeb 15, 2017
While it's not a full-coverage product, it does naturally cover redness. It's not a product that dramatically brightens, but rather subtly evens out your skin tone and gives a smooth appearance. If you dislike having a noticeable difference between your face and neck/ears, or don't want to look too pale, this might be perfect for you. It's so natural-looking, you can hardly tell you're wearing anything. The amount that comes out is just right, and it has good absorption and adherence. I'm not sure about its longevity - it's normal for it to come off when blowing your nose, so you might need to pat it in again occasionally. Oh, and it's moisturizing, so even those with dry skin could use it. I didn't experience any deep dryness, though this may vary from person to person! It's always good to try new things, but I'd recommend buying this during a sale or promotion if you're interested. Even though I have dry skin, I often applied this with just toner and emulsion as a base, without a thorough skincare routine. This might be why the makeup didn't adhere well. While it looks natural, after application, my face seemed to have a grayish tint. When I asked my friends, they confirmed this - there was a slight dullness. This might just be my experience, so don't worry too much! I have sensitive, atopic skin, but usually, if I control my diet, my face doesn't break out. However, when using this, I may not have managed well, as I got some small bumps that later subsided. (I've never had acne, just 1-2 occasional blemishes.) I have another IOPE refill that I haven't touched... Oh, and for those with oily skin, this might not cover well and could look shiny as it's quite moisturizing! For now, I've switched to using foundation instead of cushion. As expected, a good skincare routine is crucial. Exfoliating helps prevent makeup from flaking off. Currently, it's winter, so I'm using toner, emulsion, atopy emulsion, aromatherapy emulsion, healing balm (Vaseline), moisturizer, and some ointment. This routine helps prevent flaking, but as everyone knows, proper skincare is key for any makeup to work well. Using face masks is also great for achieving that dewy, honey-like glow! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2017
1. Great variety of shades One day when I went to buy a new cushion after finishing mine, I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of shades and types available. The staff helped me choose one, and I loved how the color matched my skin more naturally than before. It's great to have more options to choose from. 2. Easy touch-ups without caking Being a cushion foundation, it's convenient for touch-ups. Even when my eyeliner smudges, I can pat it with the cushion, and it covers the smudge without needing makeup remover. It's also easy to reapply without caking up. 3. Moisturizing and natural-looking I was considering the Cover version, but chose Natural Glow since I have dry skin. It lives up to its name - moisturizing and lovely. Unlike high-coverage products that require face oil in autumn and winter, this cushion is true to its name. It's not excessive, looks natural, and gives the skin a glow. I wouldn't recommend it for those who prefer a matte finish, but it's perfect for people with dry skin. 1. Low coverage when used alone Being a Natural Glow product, it has low coverage. I wouldn't recommend it to those who prioritize coverage. Of course, you can achieve decent coverage by using it with other products or applying multiple layers. That's how I use it! 2. Low staying power when used alone For those planning to use this cushion by itself, the staying power is weak. When I use it alone, my blackheads start to show through after about 2-3 hours. So I don't use it by itself. Applying BB cream and foundation can be too heavy, so I use sunscreen and CC cream first, then finish with this cushion. That way, the staying power isn't an issue! I deducted one star because the staying power seems a bit weak.
