It's like a clear jelly, so hydrating and spreads easily. Perfect for quickly applying in the morning. After it dries, it sometimes pills like silicone, so I tend to avoid using it before makeup... sigh. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2018
When it comes to Etude's moisturizing creams, people usually think of their collagen cream, but I found that one a bit heavy and stifling, so I tried this instead. It's really quite good. Once you apply it, it absorbs quickly, making your skin look plump, firm, and clear. Honestly, I think I prefer this to the collagen cream. Even for acne-prone skin, there's no stinging or itching sensation at all. On those really lazy days, I could just slap this on before bed and it was fine - kept my skin hydrated. It's definitely lighter than other moisturizers, making it perfect for summer use. It feels especially nice when you carefully apply it around areas like the neck. You can think of it as aloe vera with some extra beneficial ingredients added. There weren't any major downsides, but using this cream sets such a high standard that other skincare products seem to fall short in comparison... It's almost a bit disheartening, haha! If you mix this with a drying sunscreen or use it on days when you're experiencing flaky skin, you can confidently go about your day without any of those uncomfortable sensations. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 16, 2018
It has a cooling effect and the gel-like texture makes it feel refreshing and hydrating. While it might seem to sit on the skin initially, it absorbs quickly. There's absolutely no stickiness to this product. Usually, even after removing makeup and applying moisturizer before bed, my face tends to get oily by morning. But with this, there's none of that - my skin feels fresh even in the morning. Personally, I'd recommend it for summer use! First off, it's way too drying for fall and winter use. If you must use it during those seasons, you'll likely need to layer another moisturizer on top. Also, when applying makeup over this, perhaps due to its gel texture, the makeup tends to pill and doesn't adhere well to the skin. It's a bit frustrating... It's great for cooling purposes in summer. On days when you've been exposed to a lot of sun or your skin feels hot, applying a generous amount before bed effectively helps lower facial temperature. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 16, 2016
Overall, my skin is dry, except for the T-zone, which is oily... I don't like the thick, creamy texture of most moisturizers for dry skin, so I often use this lightweight gel-type moisturizer. It has the best moisturizing power among the gel-type moisturizers I've used. It's also great to use straight from the refrigerator - it helps cool down the skin! When applying, don't rub it in, just gently pat it on. This gives a similar effect to the 'hand-to-face' feeling you get with some high-end cosmetics. I also use this as a sleeping pack - it really sticks to my face and I wake up with super hydrated skin! Since my skin type is dry, this moisturizer feels a bit lacking when I apply it before makeup... I ended up mixing this product with a thicker cream to use it. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSep 7, 2016
It had a nice cooling sensation! In the scorching summer, it gave me a pleasant feeling when I used it! At first, it applied smoothly and felt plump, but later it felt like my fingers were sticking to it. And it was so light that I'm not sure if it was moisturizing enough. I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin. It worked fine for the summer, but as autumn came, I had to reapply it multiple times because it became dry, and my makeup would come off.
