It's so rare to find such a deep color in our country... It's precious, precious, precious! (Please, please reproduce it...) This color suited me so well that it covered all the drawbacks... It pills badly and emphasizes dead skin cells. Applying it over a base color reduces the pilling. - ke****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDec 12, 2018
Hmm... I guess the only thing I can say is that it has a unique color? 1. The formula is thick and the applicator makes it difficult to apply evenly. It feels like you're rubbing foundation-covered fingers against a wall - that's how stiff it is. 2. The purple shade is rather ambiguous. As someone who loves purple lips, this is the product I reach for the least. 3. Whether you're going for a gradient look or full lip color, it's just confusing how to use this properly, haha! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinFeb 28, 2018
* The color is truly beautiful when first applied. It's like a deep purple, reminiscent of wine. * Glides on smoothly and evenly. * Pigmentation is excellent. A little goes a long way. * The staying power is terrible and the staining is... pink... The stained color is really strange. It's not even a pretty pink, just an odd, neither-here-nor-there shade. * I bought it after trying the tester and loving it, but now I regret it. * I usually wear most of my lip products, but the staining is so disappointing that I'm not even touching this one. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 27, 2018
First off, it's the color. It's hard to find this shade in other tints. I don't suit fluorescent-like colors, and I don't want it to scream 'I'm wearing tint!' This skin-like hue looks more natural, which I love. That's why, despite its drawbacks, I've bought about three of these so far. The major downside is the staying power. It's terrible. It's better to just think of it as a lipstick. So what I do is apply Peripera first to increase longevity, then dab a tiny bit of this on top. That works great! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2018
Wow, this is seriously amazing! I absolutely love these intense colors. The matte finish and applicator tip make it so easy to apply. I bought this shade after trying the main title color and loving it. Will definitely repurchase once I finish this one. Lately, it's the only lip product I've been using. Since it's a matte product, you must exfoliate your lips before applying, or use a lip balm or moisturizing lip product underneath. The staying power is a bit lacking, and it can transfer to your teeth. Personally, I love deep colors, but this one has a slight purple tint. So I usually layer it over the Aritaum Color Live Tint in Coral On Top. The result is a beautiful color combination. The downside is that it's no longer a true matte finish because Coral On Top is moisturizing. But I don't mind since the final look is so pretty. - ch******Combination SkinAcne SkinOct 6, 2017
1. Captivating purple? Haha! It's like a mix of purple and magenta... A striking color that's perfect for dramatic, dark makeup rather than everyday looks! When applied to the lips, it leans more pink and leaves a stain. 2. Incredible pigmentation. You need to be careful with the amount you apply because it's super intense. 3. Sleek design! 4. It's beautiful as a blush too. Unfortunately, the photo doesn't capture the true color... This texture is common in lip tints, but personally, I find it a bit uncomfortable. It feels almost like melted rubber, haha! It doesn't give a fresh feeling. This is just my personal opinion, though. Also, it stains pink later on... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 20, 2017
The color is beautiful. As someone with cool undertones who loves deep shades, I'm thrilled with this purchase. The color reminds me of a freshly bitten plum, which I adore. The matte formula is perfect for creating a sophisticated winter look. There's not much to criticize, but if you have dry lips, it might be better to apply lip balm before using this tint. - su***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAug 6, 2017
The color is beautiful, leaning more towards purple than burgundy, which is really pretty! It applies moistly, so it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells. It transfers too easily. If you drink something after applying, it leaves marks on straws and cups. The staying power isn't great either. This shade works better as a base color rather than a full lip. Use it as an accent for a beautiful look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 22, 2017
Absolutely stunning deep purple shade! Like a beautiful sweet potato hue. I really love it. The price is wallet-friendly too. It has a lovely velvety texture. (The first photo is taken without lighting, the second with bright illumination.) The staying power is zero, so it doesn't stain the lips at all. Also, the tint tends to become powdery. It has a velvety texture that can become a bit powdery, but applying lip balm helps smooth it out nicely! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsMar 29, 2017
As a deep winter cool-toned woman, I decided to try this on at the Aritaum store since it's supposedly my best color. Even on my bare face, it looked so pretty that I ended up buying it. I used my points, so it was essentially free! I love how it's moisturizing while still having great color payoff. Above all, it matches my complexion perfectly. I was already using the 'Red Intermission' from the same line, so I knew its drawbacks. As a tint, it has weak staining power and transfers easily. It's better to think of it as a sheer lipstick when using it. Also, the color itself is extremely deep and dark. If you apply it as a full lip color on its own... you might end up looking like you're doing a Halloween zombie cosplay, so be careful! I have a cool undertone with a somewhat darker complexion. For those with warm undertones and fair skin, this might be the worst choice. 1. Perfect combination for cool-toned daily makeup: Cool-toned contour eyeshadow + Lavender blush + 'Midnight Singer' as a single lip color 2. First, apply 'Red Intermission' from the same line as a base, then dab 'Midnight Singer' in the center of your lips. Blend them together for a beautiful result.
