It's wonderfully moisturizing and doesn't emphasize dead skin cells. I absolutely love it! The only downside is that Revlon has withdrawn from the Korean market. Also, it only suits a few cool-toned skin types. - do*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinJun 3, 2023
I bought this product because I loved the name 'Black Cherry' for the color. It's a shade that would suit those with deep autumn or winter complexions... Unfortunately, it doesn't complement my warm spring tone. If you're not a deep autumn or winter type, it might turn you into a 'bean paste lip' like me! On my lips, it applies unevenly and looks a bit patchy, not clean and crisp at all. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 28, 2021
A truly deep burgundy! Hard to find elsewhere. Exudes sexiness Slightly emphasizes dead skin cells and if not applied well, can look like red bean porridge - ck****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 5, 2021
I impulsively bought this Revlon Black Cherry lipstick because it's such a unique shade at an affordable price point - usually these standout colors come with a hefty price tag! The application is incredibly smooth. It glides on effortlessly, feeling creamy and moisturizing. This could be seen as either a pro or a con, depending on your preference. I love how the silky texture doesn't emphasize fine lines or dead skin cells. Best of all, there's no artificial fragrance! Highlights: - Rare, eye-catching color - Budget-friendly - Smooth application - Doesn't accentuate lip texture - No artificial scent Unfortunately, it tends to transfer easily and doesn't have great staying power, making it less than ideal for our current mask-wearing times. The color builds up nicely with each layer, but if your lips aren't well-exfoliated, it can look a bit patchy. Drawbacks: - Short wear time - Prone to patchiness I didn't include comments about the color in the pros and cons since that's a matter of personal taste. I expected it to be a deep wine or vampy blood-red, but it's not quite that intense or clear. I'd describe it as somewhere between a red wine and red bean paste color (see second photo). You can achieve a more blood-like shade by mixing it with a bright red lipstick (check out the third photo). - gr********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedJan 28, 2021
Deep dark cherry? It's the kind of sultry color people would love to wear! I bought it cheap for gradient looks since it doesn't suit me when applied full-on. This shade is probably their most famous, right? It's genuinely beautiful. Pair this with a plum blush, and you've got the perfect winter look. Plus, the transparent top of the case lets you see the color perfectly - so convenient! The packaging isn't pretty. For a 14,000 won lipstick, doesn't the case look identical to those 4,000 won Wet n Wild lipsticks sold on Coupang? Such a letdown. It would be perfect for a vampire look! Great for Halloween too. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 14, 2020
It truly lives up to its Black Cherry name! I was on the fence about buying it, but now I'm in tears because it's even prettier than I expected. This color suits both cool and warm tones beautifully. Just layer it once over a light pink, and you've got a gorgeous lip look. This entire line excels in color payoff and doesn't emphasize dead skin cells - there's nothing more to say! To anyone still debating: just go for it and buy it! There are honestly no downsides! This product looks stunning whether used alone or mixed with others. I've even been recommending it to my friends. I think it pairs especially well with cool-toned pinks. Don't just layer your clothes - layer your lip colors too for a fabulous look! - rk**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 22, 2020
This dark cherry lip color really captures a seductive vibe! The smooth, non-sticky application is incredibly appealing. When I want a more toned-down look, I mix it with other lip colors. The more you layer it, the deeper and more beautiful the color becomes. While it might be a bit much for everyday wear, I'm quite fond of these types of shades, so I don't regret purchasing it. It doesn't emphasize fine lines much, which I personally appreciate. The formula isn't drying, instead it's soft and applies smoothly with a moisturizing feel. Even with my very dry lips, I found it comfortable to use. I suppose because it applies so smoothly and with moisture, the staying power leaves a bit to be desired. But that's somewhat unavoidable with this type of formula! While it might be a bit intense to wear this color on its own, when you want to create a deep, alluring look, here's a personal tip: Apply a lighter red shade as a base all over your lips, then gently dab the Black Cherry shade mainly on the inner part of your lips. Don't spread it, just lightly tap it to add dimension. The result is surprisingly beautiful and well-blended. (The lip swatch in the photo shows Black Cherry applied on its own!) - x_******Normal SkinRecommendedSep 17, 2020
The color is unique and the price is affordable. It absorbs well on the skin. The staying power doesn't seem to be great. Also, when applied thickly, there's a slightly grainy texture. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 30, 2020
The photo shows the lipstick applied by rubbing it with my fingers! I don't like applying it too thickly or boldly, so I spread it out with my hands. Since it's a deep color, I love that you can adjust the intensity depending on how much you apply. At first, I was hesitant to use it because it looked like such a vampy shade, but once I figured out how to control the amount, its versatility really increased! The lipstick tends to bunch up a bit on the lips and transfers quite a lot! As for staying power, it disappears after eating a meal. If you look good in clear cherry tones, you can create a natural, fresh cherry look by buying this and applying it thinly! You can also achieve a bold look by applying it more heavily, so I think it's really bang for your buck! I sometimes use this as a base and mix it with other products to create a softer brick color. The right photo shows a warm-toned look I created by layering this Black Cherry shade and topping it with an orange-tinted product! - hy******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJun 21, 2020
The color payoff is fantastic. It applies smoothly with a rich texture. There's a bit of staining. To be honest, I haven't worn it out, so I'm not sure about its other good points. At home, you can play vampire - it's fun! The moment you apply this, you can see yourself transformed into all sorts of villain characters. It's hilarious! While applying it, I kept thinking, 'Why did I buy this? What possessed me?' For me, this isn't for daily use, and it's even hard to wear on special occasions. It'll probably just sit unused on my vanity, sadly. If you think this looks good on you, you must be truly beautiful... or a true winter cool tone. It seems to go on sale frequently. I'd recommend buying it when it's discounted.
