  I've been using the gift for about 3 weeks now. To be honest, Benefit always had a strong makeup vibe, so I didn't have high expectations for their skincare. But after trying it, I can definitely say that Benefit is Benefit. The product is really well-made. The texture feels extremely fine and nano-sized, almost like it's been micronized. It's highly moisturizing and nutritious, yet it gets absorbed into the skin without any greasy or tacky feeling. Even during busy mornings, I don't have to keep patting it in for it to sink in, and it doesn't interfere with applying cushion or foundation on top. Instead, it helps the makeup adhere better without emphasizing fine lines. While I didn't notice a significant reduction in my crow's feet, my eye area does look brighter overall. And the best part is, I no longer experience that tightness and dryness under my eyes when I come into the office. This is a trusty, basic eye cream that may not erase wrinkles, but it effectively tackles dullness and dryness around the eyes. And despite the lack of harsh ingredients, the absorption is impressive, so you can tell a lot of technology went into making this a 'good-for-you' eye cream. (+ The design is really pretty, which is an added bonus!)

  It was great to use this cream lightly throughout all four seasons. The moisturizing power was good, and it didn't cause creasing or caking around the eyes when I applied makeup, which I really liked. When I used a small amount of the Benefit moisturizer as a primer and then did my makeup, it created a really hydrated and smooth skin finish. The eye cream was also good in that regard.

  There weren't any special effects. The moisturizing power isn't exceptional, so it's not great to use alone in the winter. I don't think it will be effective for dark circles either.
