The good point is, while it's a bit rich to use as an eye cream, its hydrating power is excellent. Wow, my eyes stung so badly I thought I was dying... I'm not sure if I applied it wrong, but I put it on the delicate skin around my dark circles, and it felt like it got into my eyes. It was stinging non-stop... I was completely shocked. This is the first time I've used an eye cream that stings so much. I really got burned by this one. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 24, 2020
I just apply it occasionally. I'm not sure about its effectiveness, so I don't plan to repurchase it. The main reason I can't use this properly is the scent. If you're not particularly sensitive to fragrances, you might think it's just a typical cosmetic smell. But for me, it's too much to handle, especially for a skincare product rather than makeup. - z_***Dry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2020
A formula that absorbs cleanly without sitting on the surface, and packaging that enhances preservation Without fail, I get blemishes the day after using this. I don't understand why it always happens. Also, there's a burning sensation when first applied, which might be too harsh for those with super sensitive skin. - mi*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinNov 1, 2019
It absorbs really well and sinks in quickly, making it easy to apply. Plus, it feels so hydrating! While it's excellent as a regular moisturizer, I'm not sure if it truly excels as an eye cream in terms of functionality. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 27, 2018
I've been using this for about 3 weeks after receiving it as a gift. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations for Benefit's skincare since they're known more for their makeup. But after trying it, I realized why Benefit is Benefit. They've really done an excellent job with this product. The texture feels like it's been nano-processed into extremely fine particles. It's deeply hydrating and nourishing, yet it absorbs completely into the skin without leaving any greasy residue. Even on busy mornings, you don't need to keep patting it in to help it absorb. It doesn't pill when you apply cushion or foundation over it. Instead, it helps your makeup adhere better without settling into fine lines. I have some fine lines around my eyes from smiling, and to be honest, I didn't notice them becoming less visible. However, the skin around my eyes does look brighter overall. Most importantly, my under-eye area used to feel tight and dry at work, but on days I use this, I don't experience any of that tightness. This eye cream excels in the basics. Rather than eliminating wrinkles, it seems to brighten dullness caused by dryness around the eyes. Considering how well it absorbs despite having few harmful ingredients, it seems like a lot of technology went into creating this gentle eye cream. (Plus, the design is really pretty, so it's a pleasure to look at too!) I didn't have any issues with the product's effectiveness. The only downside is the wicked price for just 15g of product. Aside from the price, I was completely satisfied with everything else. Since it's not as effective for wrinkle improvement, I recommend using it only on dark under-eye circles and dry eye areas, not on smile lines. Even if you apply a lot, it doesn't pill but feels like it's layering nicely, so I recommend using it before makeup in the morning! - my****Combination SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 26, 2018
I found this eye cream great for light use all year round. The hydration was decent, and it didn't cause any pilling or clumping around the eyes when applying makeup. Similar to Benefit's moisturizer with its priming properties, applying a small amount of this eye cream before makeup resulted in a beautifully moisturized and smooth skin appearance. There's no remarkable effect. The hydration isn't impressive enough to use it alone in winter. I doubt it would have any impact on dark circles. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but despite its gentle formula and pretty packaging, I wasn't very satisfied throughout its use, constantly wondering when I'd finish it and move on to something else. There are so many affordable and gentle eye creams out there. It doesn't seem necessary to spend money on an expensive product with such minimal effects. - fe******Dry SkinSep 2, 2018
Wow... I couldn't use it for more than a second, so I'm not sure about any good points As soon as I applied it, my eyes felt like they were being ripped out. I think putting on cleansing foam would hurt less!!! My eyes kept watering, so I quickly grabbed some cleansing wipes to remove it. Thankfully, I managed to save my eyesight - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2018
Compared to other eye creams, this one feels refreshing and comes in a travel-friendly size, making it convenient to carry around on trips. Those who prefer lightweight formulas will likely enjoy this product. I'm not sure about its effectiveness, but then again, eye creams don't usually show noticeable results right away. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 13, 2018
I tried this as a gratis gift with a purchase over a certain amount. It's better than I expected, so I'm considering buying it again! There's a cooling sensation when applying it. I noticed in the Hwahae reviews that many people experienced eye irritation. While it wasn't that severe for me, I still found the cooling feeling a bit uncomfortable when applying. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2017
I bought this because all my friends said it was great. I thought it would be good for me too... but sadly that wasn't the case. After applying this, I developed what seemed like an allergic reaction around my eyes.
