I love that I can choose my own cushion case. I picked a pretty pink one, and not long after, I saw Park Jihoon, my bias from Produce, using the same one. It's probably sponsored, but still. The coverage is decent, though I wouldn't say it's amazing. They don't provide refills, which I'll explain why that's actually a good thing later. 1. Color: Is this really shade 13? I usually use shade 17 with a pink base, but I'm easily swayed. The salesperson said 13 would suit me too, so I bought it. It's yellow. If you normally use a yellow base, you might not mind, but as someone super sensitive about base colors, I hated this from the start. 2. Case: Flimsy. Doesn't close properly. 3. Staying power: I applied it at 9, touched up an hour later, and then again after that. That should tell you about its longevity. By the way, I bought the 'long-wear' version. Long. Wear. 4. Caking: I've never seen a cushion cake up this badly. It cakes immediately. If you prep your skin really well, it might last an hour before caking. How generous... 5. Transfer: I could say a lot, but I won't. I trust anyone reading this won't buy it anyway. 6. Built-in puff: I'm not great with cushions and usually use a different puff, but I tried it. It's terrible. Probably contributes to the caking. The Olive Young puff seemed to cake less. 7. Sale: Bought the case + cushion on sale for 10,000 won. Apparently, you need to buy the puff separately. I didn't know that. If I could go back in time, I wouldn't buy anything. Glad they don't offer refills - with Innisfree, I'd feel obligated to use it all up and be miserable. The best tip is not buying it at all. That's the real success. Don't be fooled by Park Jihoon's good looks. Also, the long-wear cushion feels different from the regular cushion and foundation. People say it doesn't cake up. And why use this when you're just staying home, not going anywhere? Use it when you just want to put on makeup or take selfies for no reason. Because no one will know. - bj*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 7, 2017
I bought this with the My Cushion refill, and I love how it sets to a matte finish. It doesn't cake up, and when it does fade, it does so gracefully except for a bit around the nose. Since I have to touch up my makeup anyway, the longevity wasn't super long, but even after blotting with oil paper and reapplying, it didn't look patchy! I'm using it for touch-ups throughout the day. The coverage isn't as impressive as I'd hoped. You'll need a separate concealer to hide small blemishes. It does okay with redness, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for one-step acne coverage. Also, it can make your base makeup look a bit heavy. It's great for touch-ups. I found that using a different applicator than the cushion puff gave me a more even base. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 13, 2017
This is the ultimate summer foundation! I have a couple of acne scars on my cheeks, but the coverage is so amazing I don't even need concealer. It stays put even when I sweat and doesn't break down easily. When it does fade, it does so beautifully. While this might vary from person to person, I highly recommend this for summer use! While it's perfect for summer, I wouldn't suggest it for spring, fall, or winter. The matte formula might look a bit cakey in those seasons. Pro tip: Spray some facial mist on your beauty sponge before applying for a flawless finish. - yp*****Oily SkinAcne SkinApr 3, 2017
Achieves a transparent skin look. Works well if you already have good skin. I have oily skin prone to dead skin cells and dehydration, with acne. My complexion isn't dark, but slightly pale with a hint of redness. As for coverage, I have many grayish acne scars on my face. This feels heavy when applied, but doesn't provide coverage. It conceals light blemishes but can't hide darker ones, and slightly raised acne is still visible. I guess it's unrealistic to expect porcelain skin from just one cushion when you have acne-prone skin. It also flakes when skin is dry or has dead skin cells. It's pink-toned, but why does it look grayish when applied? I used the Innisfree Dewy Glow puff, but it's not particularly impressive... it just applies the product. It's marketed as long-wear, so I applied it at 5 PM and checked at 8 PM (my skin usually gets very oily after just 3 hours). While it didn't break down due to oil, it had worn off around my nose and settled into creases. I then exercised for about 20 minutes to test its sweat resistance. It didn't come off with sweat, but my skin looked a bit dull. After cleansing, I noticed the cushion formula coming out when I squeezed my nose. The ingredients supposedly include pore-clogging components, and this was my first time experiencing this. After using it, I checked the ingredients and expiration date, worried about potential breakouts. Surprisingly, part of the expiration date was erased. Is this even allowed? I spent 22,000 won on this and feel like I got ripped off. I regret not buying the Clio Kill Cover Cushion that was on sale at Olive Young for a similar price. My tip is: don't buy this. Get something else instead. It's not worth it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinApr 1, 2017
The scent was pleasant, and the coverage wasn't bad either. While I mentioned the scent was nice, it was quite strong, which could cause headaches for some. - se******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 1, 2017
A wonderfully matte cushion that's perfect for summer! No darkening and minimal breakdown. Highly recommended for oily skin types. I have sensitive skin that becomes extremely oily in summer and extremely dry in winter. I wouldn't recommend this for dry skin as it flakes off. And for sensitive skin, I absolutely do not recommend it! After just one day of use, my face broke out in blemishes, hives, and became red and irritated. While not suitable for sensitive skin, it's great for oily skin types. Also, the cushion shade runs slightly light. Using a puff that adheres well to the skin enhances the application. For those with dry skin, try dampening the puff with a facial mist before use for better results. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 19, 2017
As it's a coverage product, it provides quite good coverage, and there's a generous amount of product inside the cushion. I usually use shade 21 for cushions, but for me, shade 21 was half a tone darker. So I tried shade 13, but it still seems a bit dark. Moreover, the adherence is really poor. Even with a thorough base, it starts to separate after just an hour. I'm not sure if this is normal... This is my first time trying this cushion, and I'm a bit disappointed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 16, 2017
On days when my skin isn't at its best, it does feel a bit warm, but I haven't experienced any major blemishes and I'm using it comfortably! The staying power is average and the adherence is so-so? The coverage is decent, but as someone with sensitive and delicate skin - extremely oily in the T-zone and dry in the U-zone - I'm satisfied simply because it doesn't cause my skin to react badly. I'm continuing to use it for that reason. I've included all the positive points in the section above. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 12, 2017
I chose the long-wear cover because I tend to have blemishes and redness, and I was quite satisfied with its coverage. The pink tone gives a lovely radiant look when applied. The adherence could be better, unfortunately. Don't rush to apply it when you're busy, or you'll regret it! Make sure to moisturize well with your skincare routine before application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 31, 2017
It didn't transfer after application! That's what I really love about it. The coverage was great and it absorbed well too. I'm not sure about how well it adhered to the skin, but I enjoyed using it overall. It didn't quite agree with my skin, causing some small blemishes to appear.
