I really love this! The brush is sleek and the fixing power is great. Of course, if you apply it too close to where your eyes meet when blinking, it will smudge... Placement is key. Well, it's a good product for the price. I plan to repurchase when I run out. The positive review enthusiastically praises the product's brush design and staying power, while noting the importance of proper application technique to avoid smudging. The less positive review acknowledges the product as decent value for money, indicating satisfaction but perhaps not overwhelming enthusiasm. - hs******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRednessRecommendedFeb 5, 2025
It's black, pure and simple. The color payoff is incredibly vivid, and once it dries, there's no smudging at all. The applicator is shaped like a palette, making it easy to control the amount and eliminating the need to transfer product elsewhere. It's an absolute gem! Since it's such an intense black, I plan to buy the brown shade next time. - lu*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 5, 2025
No need to worry about eyeliner color. Mixing brown and black creates a perfect custom shade. The black formula seems firmer than the brown. There are no downsides. The price is so low it makes you wonder how they make a profit. Try mixing black and brown. It's affordable, so give it a shot. Be sure to blend with eyeshadow on top. If you do this, you're guaranteed to get compliments on your makeup skills. - ys****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 17, 2023
I have a gel eyeliner that I use daily, but this product is definitely smoother and barely smudges. If you control the amount well, it doesn't apply too dark or heavy. I love how it gives a natural color payoff. Since it's a squeeze-type product, if you don't control the amount properly, it can dry up over time, which means you always have to clean it. That's a bit of a hassle. Also, the brush that came with it felt too rough, so I replaced it with a Daiso brush. To achieve a natural, subtle look, I focus on filling in along the lash line. - od*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinMar 27, 2023
It's actually not bad once you apply it, but it's such a hassle. It's convenient to use when you dispense it, but if you put it on the back of your hand, it stains and is difficult to remove. The squeeze-out liner was just too inconvenient for me. I wondered if this would be popular despite being so inconvenient, but I see it's been discontinued! I'd rather they put it in a jar instead. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2021
The staying power was excellent. It didn't smudge and lasted for a long time. The application was also smooth. You need to pay close attention to pen maintenance. If you forget to clean it even for a day before closing, the pen will be ruined and unusable. Controlling the amount of product is also a bit tricky! - gy*******Dry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinApr 21, 2021
It's a deep black eyeliner. I really appreciated how hygienic it is to use. It seemed a bit weak against oily skin. Unfortunately, it smudged a little on my eyes. - mi************Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2021
Package: The liner gel and brush come as a set. The quality of the included brush is impressive! Staying power: I have monolids, but it doesn't smudge at all and doesn't need touch-ups. This was my first eyeliner, recommended by a friend, and I have no regrets! It's not as difficult to use as I thought, and it's great for creating thin lines. Color: It's a true black, neither faded nor mixed with brown. Since I bought this after being convinced by a friend and now I'm the one recommending it, I don't have any complaints! The brown color was discontinued. + Although it shows as discontinued on Hwahae and the store clerk told me the brown color was discontinued when I purchased it, I've heard it's now back on sale both online and offline! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 27, 2020
Personally, I have both brown and black, but I prefer the black one. It's a crisp matte black without any film-like feeling, so I use it often. I used to use gel pencils for convenience, but this one doesn't smudge as long as I don't apply it to the waterline. These days, I'm willing to put up with the hassle of using a brush because it has great staying power. You only need to use a tiny amount, and since it's 6 grams, I've been using it for ages. The inconvenience of having to use a brush and the hassle of cleaning the palette after use to prevent the hole from clogging are downsides. As for controlling the amount, it's not really an issue? Since there's plenty of product, even if you waste a bit by putting it on the palette, it doesn't seem to matter much. - wj******Dry SkinRecommendedOct 10, 2020
This is the only eyeliner I use. Even though I sweat a lot and eyeliner usually comes off easily, this one stays put. It's absolutely fantastic! The downside is that it can thicken over time. You need to clean the opening well, and always wipe the brush after use to prevent it from hardening. Keep the brush clean at all times and use just a small amount of product. Apply it gradually for the best results.
